Saw this today, it was so ridiculous at parts but had lots of fucking hilarious moments as well. I didn't know about the Ron Paul thing beforehand so that was really surprising.

this is so great.

went and watched it and laughed my ass off harder than I have in a really long time. Loved the god hates fags part and the awkward silence on the hunting trip was perfect.

it's a lot funnier than borat. a couple people left during the most disturbing parts but none of it was really BEYOND THE PALE honestly unless you're a little conservative in your social outlook

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

i saw most of it. it's okay, but most of it isn't really much better than a will ferrell movie was, or something like that. the parts where he is actually interacting with people are best, bringing up all the homophobia and weirdness. the ron paul bit was good, so was the focus group. there is way too much staged/plotted stuff, though. i thought all that stuff was crappy.

i'm not saying it was all bad, it wasn't, but there is alot of really lame humour in this movie. i like what it done with throwing dicks in your face so you need to deal with it (plus it is funny), but i don't even trust sacha baron cohen enough to believe this is supposed to be a satire of homophobia and the other kinds of problems the movie shows.

take the line near the begining which was like "i am the biggest star in every german speaking country in the world...except from germany.". I mean, that isn't the only kind of I TURNED IT UPSIDE DOWN crud joke in the movie, and that isn't really funny. it doesn't ANNOY me or anything, i'm just saying it's the kind of thing you find in a will ferrell movie. talledega nights. i saw that movie. hell yes you'd find things like that there.

i think the point of that shit in the beginning was it was supposed to be not funny.

the constant hitler references got a lil old but other than that it was a really good movie man.
