no i just think roman's only been to rap/electro concerts. like i swear i've heard him tell a story or two about being at a venue and seeing some hiphop guy i knew about, and he said he knows where this one is. and that isn't sheltered much!

yeah but most of the punk I'm into is early 80s hardcore punk like circle jerks/black flag/dead kennedys etc that either you can't see live these days or you don't want to.  DK Kennedys?  no thanks.  also my roommate's a fan of modern hardcore but i find that i just can't seem to get that into it.

What kinda tickets are we getting... I looked it up and saw general admission at 80 bucks...  and if thats the case I might be able to swing it...

also you are apparently ignoring everyone saying something negative so i will reiterate it is a terrible idea for you to bring alcohol to this because you have nowhere to drink it as we've established so unless you are crashing somewhere stop saying you're bringing lists of liquor/cases of beer!

ryan and chef apparently are devoted to bringing you to this thing but you clearly have NO CLUE whatever else I think so I am telling you I would be HELLA SURPRISED if this venue lets you bring alcohol into it as I've never been to one that does and the 9:30 has a bar in it.

Yeah I was kinda confused as to why someone would bring liquor or a 40 or whatever to a concert. Its just a little weird!

Maybe if there was talk of an afterparty at someone's house or something, the whole 'let's get an alcohol list together' would make more sense! But driving across state lines and brown-bagging a 5th of wild turkey that a stranger from the net bought you in the park before a sonic youth concert just doesn't make sense at all!

i don't think he means he's bringing alcohol to the concert! for one you can buy drinks there anyway. ima see if i can get some kind of afterparty thing going after the concert anyway

that's still kind of weird because how can you dudes not polish off six beers on your own and if he means A CASE yeah you can't buy that at a venue for sure (i've actually never seen venues sell sixpacks either because it makes much less money) and he mentioned bringing weed. no i think he meant from home!

i mean the bulletpoint is dont bring alcohol to the venue unless you are going to drink outside the venue somewhere because i dont know how that would work.
