This is why we can't have nice things. Do post more pics though ase it's making me interested in poland and I've never really been interested in going there even though my bro has and he said it was really beautiful.

hmm I went to Poland for two weeks when I was ten years old but I hated it at the time. Of course I was 10 and a little asshole but looking at these pictures kind of makes me want to go visit again. Get some culture. I should probably relearn the language though. Help me out here ase.

Also these pictures are beautiful but why are you all like "WOW NOW I'LL GO TO POLAND!" seriously go to any country in Europe with hills and that is what they look like. If you like Polish things go to Poland, if you like Czech things go to the Czech Republic, if you like Slovakian things go to the Czech Republic, if you like Austrian things to go to Austria... well, you get it.

I guess what I am trying to say is don't go to Slovakia!

well to be fair I'm polish so that kind of makes the most sense. I didn't really read the rest of the topic so I guess other people have been saying the same thing?

My 4-year-old cousin who I had last met when she was only a couple months old. She's ridiculously smart and knows more English than her parents. The black box on the wall is a mailbox.

A look into the courtyard. It was closed that day so we couldn't take the castle tour.

Inside of a church in a small village of 78 people that lies 465m above sea level. We had to drive up scary winding mountain roads to get there. The decorations are due to a recent first communion celebration.

My aunt and uncle's new 7-week-old puppy. I don't know anything about dogs but he was pretty cute for something that will grow up to be a vicious attack dog

A very old wooden home! My uncle's parents used to live there but the roof is now slowly collapsing so they are beginning the process of tearing it down.

One of the buildings in Rzeszow that are part of the technical college/university my cousin goes to. Here is MOST MODERN BUILDING that I took picture of, for whomever it was that requested it.

Here I am doing a poor job of learning how to drive a manual

My other aunt and uncle's house - I stayed here for a few days. Uncle in the background, cousin in the foreground. imo their house is really pretty but they are AVERAGE POOR VILLAGER which goes to show you how much Polish people care about the appearance of their homes!

Me and my older cousin at an outdoor concert in Lancut. Do not tell me you want to bang her or I will ban(g) you from GW permanently.

My uncle decided to take us for a "short bike ride" which ended up taking 3 1/2 hours. My uncle is in the background, my cousin is in the foreground, and I am a shadow on a bike...

When my parents asked me what changed in Poland over the course of 4 years, I replied, "Less cows and more cell phones." This is 100% true. Cows are becoming a rarity as people becomes MORE MODERN i guess. This was probably 5 kilometers from my grandparents' home. Typical polish village/field scenery

For those of you who are into history, this is a monument at a cemetery from 1915 where only Austrian soldiers are buried, also along our bike path.

A new elementary/middle/high school that my cousins attend. It is in a village of 2,000 people so this is a BIG DEAL to them.

This is very insightful, man! That is some amazing terrain and architecture.

Floral patterns and arrangements seem to be a recurring theme over there.

Wooow. Those classrooms are extremely nice. And the photo with your cousin on the right and the trail just blew my mind. It's just so beautiful :o

The houses are just lovely as well as all the scenery. :O I sort of want to visit there now.

When I went to Poland last year I was surprised at what a lovely and beautiful country it was. I only went to Krakow, but it was a really nice place, and certainly the train journey from Czech Republic into Poland gave me a chance to look at some really pretty countryside. I didn't get a chance to visit the salt mines, hope you post some pics of them! Where abouts in the country were you staying?
