Man, Crash Bandicoot should be a playable character. Although not from the same developers (and therefore the games sucked), he appeared on the Gamecube and DS. I could totally see his moves.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
(These moves are based off of Crash Bandicoot 3, one of the best ones in the series.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Smash Down : Bandicoot Spin : Spinning is to Crash as jumping on enemies is to Mario; He spins ridiculously fast to the point where it becomes a blur
Smash Side : Crash Slide : Basically just sliding
Smash Up : Yo-yo : Not exactly used in the games, but he always seems to have a yo-yo on him
Special Side : Wompa Fruit Bazooka : A bazooka that shoots wompa fruits. (kind of like apples)
Special Up : Death Spin : Crash rises upward while spinning; Slower then regular recoveries, making it easier to dodge, but has more maneuverability
Special Down : Belly Flop : Pretty much a standard belly flop, but with Crash being obsessed with spinning, he spins down. Not as fast as most of his other spins, you can actually see him spinning rather then a blur.
Taunt : Bandicoot Dance : This awesome dance thing that he does whenever he collects a gem
Smash Ball : Aku Aku Invincibility : Throughout the game Crash would get boxes with Aku Aku in them, (A spirit of an old witch-doctor in the form of a mask) Aku Aku would take a hit in Crash's place if he ever got in trouble. If Crash got two masks then Aku Aku would turn red and gold and start to glow, and if Crash took a hit he would go back to being regular and would be able to take one more hit for him. However, if Crash ever managed to get three masks, then he would put on Aku Aku and become this ultimate dude, that would either blow up, or fling across the level, anything that got within two feet of him. (This includes items and boxes, so it'd be pretty interesting to see in SSB) Of course its only temporary, and runs out after while. Acting kind of like Mario when he gets a star.

It'd just be mad awesome to see all four of the most legendary platforming heroes in one game. (The others being Mario, Donkey Kong, and Sonic, who are all in the top 15 selling game franchises including Crash Bandicoot.) According to
this.
