I often look to books when I consider making a character for a role in my games. I read a few books that follow the same sort of theme and then look at how the books uses them as a tool to create opportunities and changes in the main character. Then I try to apply that with a character I make in the game and voila... my role filler.

Lol, stab him in the eye  naw, I wouldn't... I am mad but not that mad....

I think we all just "shockingly" reacted to a "shockingly" crazy thing to happen... it's almost like hearing about the guy with the bicycle in the hotel room... I don't remember the whole story but it was a "WTF" response too lol.

I agree Mince Wobley, if you associate people with nice things there is a difference in the way you think about them.

Jester, don't assume things. I don't know who serenity is, or if I have ever even talked to them before. I am not a rascist and you should never ever accuse people of being a rascist for no reason  :fogetannoyed: And if you didn't want me to respond to anything you have said, then don't use my username as an example when you have NO CLUE who I am.

:argh: Sorry about the mini rant, after having Jester say that it really pissed me off.

Not really. These topics are basically "oh shit, most people don't do this, but this guy did. check this out" breeding grounds, so when someone says they would be willing to beat another human to death it is by no great stretch of the imagination to believe them and feel disturbed by it.

E=MC2 mothafucka

Well you are of course entitled to your opinion but you never even once asked my words even mean't... did you think for a second that I never said I wanted anyone dead? I only said I wanted to hurt them like they hurt that dog and then dismissed even my own words as being rubbish. But of course, you have your opinions on what things mean and I have mine. I would look at probably more than 3/4 of the people who make statements like that and say they don't even mean it, that just overly react for the moment... but yeah... go ahead and judge by words alone instead of intention.

I honestly don't have the evil bone in my body to make me actually hurt someone... though the thoughts usually never cross my mind unless it's the five minutes after I see something horrible done by someone else, just because I react in distgust and anger doesn't make me a violent person.

I think when it comes to anything that is considered "adolescence sexuality" I believe there are different rules involved. Obviously if you think about it, you are commiting an action already... technically you may have not done anything to a child physically but mentally you are creating the situation. Therefore not the same ideal as when someone thinks violent thoughts but doesn't carry it out.

I don't feel ... vicious feelings about it anymore, it is disturbing and I don't like it one bit. I imagine someone doing that to my dogs it makes me want to be sick and then cry... but fortunately there is karma, and they will get theirs in some way or form.

Doktormartini... I love your avatar BTW.

I agree with you and blood hell also.

There is that  very distinct difference between a thinker and a do-er. A do-er will kill, maim, torture, and mentally anguish people just because they thought it was a good idea. A thinker will only have the bad thoughts, no matter how horrible and just never do a thing about it. But the line can be crossed from a thinker to a do-er you just have to never cross that line.

PS. Get meat from your local farm market.

I agree with Massy, throwing a dog over the bridge is horrifyingly disturbing. To be honest, I wouldn't be violent... most people wouldn't be violent we just have really angry words and sadistic thoughts about the person whom did it.

This sickens me  :fogetangry: People like that have a mental problem. How can you torture an animal like that??!?

Even with a year in jail he has to live around a whole world that knows what he has done and they will skin him alive, at least I hope he gets thrown off a bridge like he did to that dog if he isn't publicly humiliated for what he did.

If I ever meet him, I will curb stomp that @$$hole!

*I LOVE DOGS...*

I think other... for the fact that you could be using names of historical elemental names (things from fables and lore) that sound amazing when used for the name of spells. Like Undines, they are water elementals and have been implemented in games many times of course but it does the trick... like Undine's Flood... magic that makes a huge tidal wave... I don't know, creative names.

Lots of people live with their parents past 18, it's a misconception that a kid is supposed to leave the nest at 18, 100 years ago they would not leave until they were married and had a child. In fact, in Pakistan it is even common for parents to keep a son or daughter living with their wife and children in the same home they grew up in or that the parents own.

I agree with maybe talking to a council housing, that would be a great option. There are also in small towns plenty of under the table jobs available you just gotta put yourself out there and ask both "is there work available under the table or over the table?"

If you can pick up some here and there jobs from neighbors and people around town you can make enough to keep you afloat until you do in fact get a good job.

Another thing I can suggest, this is what my cousins do. They offer grocery services, so you go to the persons house 2 times a week and do their shopping for them, they give you 20-50$ each week for doing their shopping for them twice a week. Not a bad way to make a buck, with doing it for 5 people a week you would be earning at least 100$ a week, not bad IMO.

PS. to those who are joking at the OP's expense, not cool man... not cool... if you were in the same position you'd like a straight answer and a little respect.

Very difficult place your in, I was there too. No job, 700$ for rent each month and already behind on bills when I left. It took about 6 weeks to get on my feet, took a job as an assistant manager at mcdonalds. Waited for a great job opening somewhere else and ran for it, ended up with oil and gas service company.
To be honest it is hard, it takes time... make that money stretch all you can and try to work at a pub under the table.

I hope you figure stuff out or your dad would hopefully give you some more time.

It really is in bad taste to do that to someone's account after they pass... not surprised someone felt the need to do it but it is greatly distasteful and disrespectful.

American Eagle is what I would happen to suggest, there is one other place that you could buy from that would possibly have the size you want. That would be Marks Work Wearhouse, you can select waist and length there and get different brands and styles of jeans.

Wow, I didn't know he had passed away *hides* I was gone for a year so I didn't know.

I am sure there is a ton of well wishing, and heartfelt thoughts for his family as they deal with this. I hope they can move through this time in life, losing someone is horrible... I honestly don't know what else to say for this....

I agree with the donation thing, someone should contact their family and setup a paypal account so that we can donate what we can to them, I know when I am able to I will.

I own the second Dark Cloud, I found it more interesting and open ended when it came to game play, fighting wasn't much different from the previous game even with weapon level ups, though the style of leveling weapons did change and found it less exciting to say the least... yeah I wasn't a fan of that part. The characters weren't as interesting and I felt the storyline had something lacking to it... can't put my finger on it actually just a feeling.

I absolutely loved the first one, maybe it is just nostalgia.

I never said it was the most prevalent  :hmm:

Though it is a common mental illness or disorder BDD does affect a lot of people and often does stem from Depression, or vice versa depression can stem from the disorder. Like many illnesses a base can be depression itself. Many people have to seek therapy in order to correctly diagnose the reasons for having the disorder.

And yes like above you can also have OCD which causes you to inadvertanly choose to do things or feel certain ways about things without wanting to... I have heard of that. Seen a special about it on Discovery actually last month.

BDD is actually one of the most common 'mental illnesses' in North America. There are so many people affected by it because of the wide media coverage that opens to the female and male population and setting a standard to weight and height.

There are many reasons why there is the standard but who is to say the standard is for all of us let alone one of us.

Being a person that sees myself as imperfect, but perfection in my eyes attainable. I had a baby gained 76lbs (yes way too much but it was well worth the yummy food) and have only lost 61lbs of that weight I still don't feel like I will be done until I lose all if not more of that weight that I gained. The thing is for my body type that weight is perfect, dead on... but for someone else whom is 5"45 and of another body shape and heritage it might be under or over weight.

Just my opinion.
