Needless to say that this year was a great year in music. Here's the albums that caught my attention this year.
5. Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation- Excellent album, with contemporary themes, vibrant tone, agressive riffs -- Worth buying.
4. Leonard Cohen - I'm your man- A nice comback, that's the least i can say, for that Mr. Cohen, who made a remarkable use of synths, and many other instruments.
3. King's X - Out of the silent planet- A promising debut album for that rising band -- King's X. Worth listening
2. Soundgarden - Ultramega OK- Kind of obvious there.

And finally, the crème of the crème,
Blue Öyster Cult - Imaginos- This album must be credited to Albert Bouchard, BÖC's drummer for several years, who thought of this concept -- A brillant rock opera using technology (modern synths, etc.), and a story that revolves around an agent of misfortune who uses power of dreams to unleash a plague of evil on the real world. A must-have.

Oh wait did you say 2007?
