There's a lot of facts, but I just don't believe the world is going to end. Some people even say the 2012 crap is a misinterpretation and that the end of the mayan calender will simply trigger a "change" in the world. But end it nope. So what am I going to be doing? Well A. I'll just live out the last moments of my life not worrying about the world ending or B. I'll wake up December 21st and say "I told you so".

Anyway, it doesn't matter to me. Think what you want to think. The warning was dumb and I'm moving on.

genocide is not a valid "opinion" arnold.

also don't use quote "marks" when you aren't "quoting" anyone, that doesn't "make" sense.
Genocide, wtf. This is what I mean by assuming. No one's saying crap about genocide. Did you ever think that I had a logical reason for saying that? Or perhaps it could've been a freaking joke, you'd never know because you don't look past the fact that "OMG! He wants to nuke the middle east, he must be a dumbass". For this reason, I'm shutting it as if I don't agree with a mod on something, I get warned.

I mean let's see, A. Their culture is messed up, where if the WOMEN gets raped, she's the victim and B. There's just a lot of crap going on that would be stopped if we bombed the Middle East. Or better yet, let's not bomb the Middle East, but just the freaking terrorist and rapist that are getting off without consequence.

wow, have an opinion and you get called "dumb as hell" by Mr. Malibus. To the warner, how do you know I'm "dumb as hell?". Guess mod knows best, I'm not gonna argue over stupid warns. Whoever gives the warnings though should really stop taking an "I know all attitude" and perhaps "think" and not "assume" when they warn someone.

you know what, we should just bomb the middle east. That would end a good amount of this sh*t.

thing is, they can't tamper with the animations

so that the game remains the same, they were allowed to use as many sprites as the animations on the old arcade ssf2t

and basically every sprite is the same picture except redrawn, so you can't hope for magic
Yeah, basically. This is probably so that it would still feel the same as playing with the classic sprites.

Well... yeah, it's just a HD version of the game after all.  :hmm:
Not really. You forgot to add that they remixed the battle system and that they added online. I mean that's kind of true, but it really is more than Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo with HD graphics. Much more? No, but it is more than just an HD version of the game.

Surprised there's not a topic on this already. But yeah, bout a week or so this came out on PSN and X-Box Live. It's more than just Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo with HD graphics though. When fighting you can either choose from the remixed fighting system or the classic fighting system that was used in the original SSF2T. You also have the ability to play online and from what I've played so far, the online is pretty good. For me so far most of my matches have been lagless except for in a couple of rare cases. Now, if you're a purist and want the original graphics, Capcom has included the option to switch between the original character sprites and the HD ones. You can also choose from the newly remixed soundtrack or the original SSF2T music.

Overall, for about $15 this is a pretty good deal. But yeah, I want to hear what other people think about it. And if anyone's on X-Box Live and wants to have a match, I'm up for it.

If you got girl problems I feel bad for you son. Really though, there are forums that deal specifically with this kind of stuff. I have advice on the subject, but you probably wouldn't listen.

How the HELL anyone can say shit like this is beyond me. People don't kill themselves because they want to be famous. People kill themselves because they want to die. Holy fuck. They sincerely believe that being dead would be a better alternative to their life.

And the whole "oh they're just taking the easy way out" bullshit is one of the most uncivilized things anyone could say. How can you look at someone voluntarily CEASING THEIR EXISTENCE and think of it as a cheap way to solve their problems? Jesus christ.

People lose their ability for rational thought when they become depressed. No, it's not something they can control.

Exactly people who have no self control. Just sad that someone would ever think life was so horrible they had to kill themselves. I can't feel sorry for them. The kid obviously had suicide in mind before, this just provoked it. If he actually wanted to be alive, he would be here today. Also, whoever warned me assumes I know nothing of depression. Idiotic? So expressing my views is idiotic? Oh, forget it, apparently we're not aloud to have minds here.

But my point is, to just say "screw it my life sucks!" is the easy way out. To go through the pain and actually try to get help or get over it is hard. So before you warn me for calling my statements idiot, read them before in blind rage you warn me. Before telling me to stop assuming, stop assuming yourself. Stop assuming I've never been through deppression, stop assuming I've never had to deal with suicidal thoughts.

Haha, pretty interesting. I can't feel sorry for anyone who commits suicide though. It's like if they did it that's obviously what they wanted. They couldn't control it? BS. This kid could've chosen to be more mature and not get so easily offended.

Please do
http://www.sendspace.com/file/n68yx4

There it is... to apply it open winrar and extract those files to the folder where "Ether Vapor Trial" was extracted.

You can get the trial version from the official site...

http://edelweiss.skr.jp/works/ethervapor/download.html

It's translated by me, since I can somewhat translate Japanese. A lot of stuff is accurate, some isn't. Lots of menu stuff is translated, but only the dialogue on stage 1 is translated.

Speaking of Ether Vapor, if anyone wants a translation of the trail version I have it. Only partial though.

A lot of people want Soul Calibur 4 to come to the Wii, but I think it's a good decision that it didn't come to a Wii. If it did, it would probably be an extremely watered down version, compared to the 360 versions and such. First you'd have to say goodbye to 1 of either 2 things, either character customization or customized characters having endings. But yeah, I could live with the later being taken away or them making some completely new ending that doesn't actually SHOW the customized character.

The reason customized characters having endings on a Wii version like they do on the 360 wouldn't work, is because SC4's cutscenes are real-time. Now if a Wii version was made, Namco Bandai would probably end up converting all the endings for regular characters into FMV's. After all, the character roster isn't humongous and endings as FMV's are something that even PS2 fighting games could do. However, this couldn't be done with custom characters, unless EVERY single outcome was made into an FMV file. And god knows the Wii's graphics can't handle running the cutscenes in real time, with the same quality as the PS3 and 360 versions.

Now online COULD be retained if a Wii version was made, so that's not a problem. It would depend on if Namco Bandai wanted to put the work in to include it. And obviously, the graphics would have to be WAAAAAY watered down compared to the other next gen versions.

So basically a Wii port of Soul Calibur 4 would possibly mean...
- Watered down graphics.
- Possibly no endings for custom characters.
- Possibly a few things taken out to save memory.
- Possibly character endings being FMV's and not real time.

Otherwise as far as I'm concerned, they can do a good port of SC4 to Wii.

I know one game that hasn't been mentioned and is kind of obscure, Legend of the Mystical Ninja for the SNES.

Haha, earth flat that's funny. But it's nonsensical, because if the world truly was flat, ships and planes and stuff would fall off the face of it. The reason we don't fall off the Earth is because it's round. The only way the world could POSSIBLY be flat is if once you go a certain point some invisible loop takes you back to the beggining of the Earth, thus giving the illusion of roundness. And if it was really flat, some plane trips would be impossible, like Japan to the western side of the United States.

Okay, so when I was 17 I HAD to be Mr. Right and put the age of 17(It was about a month or two away from my birthday too) when I was making my XBL account. But now I'm 18 and I still get "blah blah, your rating blocks you from downloading this". For this reason I couldn't download the Alone in the Dark demo and I was pretty pissed. So how do I change these stupid parental settings?

Depends on the college. Some colleges will basically block torrent downloading and you won't be able to do shit, others are really lax about it as all hell.

This is in the US tho, so that's all I know.
Yeah, I live in the US so that's what I'm asking about. And lol I don't even use torrents mostly, I just find websites to download the stuff at.

Well I'm going off to a university in a few weeks and I have question. Okay, let's say I'm a guy who's downloaded his fair share of roms and MP3's, are colleges strict about this? I'm wondering, because I've heard of one particular instance where a girl got busted for downloading illegal music. Although at my own house, I've been doing it for years and have never had any person associated with the law come up to me and bug me about it. So are universities generally strict about this kind of stuff?
