I am in love with The Core. It's one of my favorite movies ever. But I didn't think it was terrible, yet everyone else did. It was just that it kept trying so hard to be a good movie, yet kept screwing up... like an adorable kid or something.
In other words it would've been better if it was just a cut scene with that boat chatting away once for every new location. Well, maybe.No, in other words it'd be better if there no boat and no sea.
Aslong as the story is entertaining I can handle a same-y game. And I can run over the enemies with the train i'm okay with it.

Great sequel. Julia was awesome. Hasn't aged that terribly, CGI attempts aside.
Man, a copy of Link to the Past but with different graphics/levels/whatever would be so bad-ass. It wouldn't matter what people said about it, it would rock and everyone would love it.
If you are hearing this Nintendo, just make it. Think about it: People will buy it, and you will make money. What more do you need?
