THIS IS NOT A JOKE TOPIC!

The prospect of making contact with living, breathing people is a nightmare to me. When I see people I don't know (or in some cases I even DO know), I do everything in my power to avoid contact with them. Sometimes, just going outside to check the mail makes me sick.

I'm really confused as to why. I mean I am self-conscious about my appearance and all, but I just... dread even making eye contact with people.

Do I need a shrink? Am I borderline crazy?

For those of you who don't know. Our childhood has been officially erased. Cartoon Network cancelled Toonami as of last Saturday. Even though it's been nothing but shit after they took One Piece off the air, it still holds a place in my heart as the ONLY thing I watched in my younger years.

Discuss. Glad it's gone? BAWWW that it's gone? Remember fond moments?

I'm not sure if this is the right place (it fits the best to me), so please move/lock as desired.

Anyways, this topic is about the new season of Survivor.

Now, I'm not a huge Survivor fan. I've only watched Seasons 4-7, and I had a falling out with the series. However, what caught my eye this Season was a competitor by the name of Ken Hoang. Now, you might not know who I am talking about, but if you have even played Super Smash Bros. Melee, you should. Considered a legend among legends, I am talking about the man who is arguably known as the best Smasher in the world. Yes, THAT Ken. I had absolutely no idea he was on the show until I noticed an Asian guy named Ken who was a professional gamer on one of their commercials. I was like "Nah, it can't be THAT Ken." Sure enough, it was.

Anyways enough about Ken, discuss this season however you want. I'm rooting for Ken all the way though. :)

I searched to see if there was already a topic on this anime, and I couldn't find one so...

I've been following this anime recently and watched up to episode 25. I must say it is probably the second best anime show in existance. I absolutely love the humor, and even though it was only filler, episode 25 has the single greatest fight sequence in the history of history.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-48339/Gintama-Episode-25.html?hires=1

Sample episode of the epicness. Discuss now.

I'll be leaving the interwebs for a while within the month, since I'm moving and probably won't have internet for at least a week. Feel free to talk shit/not care (most likely option) about my leave. Since I'm probably not well known, this post will most likely be looked over. Well then, just a pre-warning for when I completely disappear from known existance. I'm predicting around the first of September.

Alright, since Erave is working on the final chapter, I believe it is time to share your thoughts about what Chain Game 4 has taught you. This discussion is generally only valid to those who actually worked on CG4, but if CG1-3 taught you anything, you can post that here as well.

As for me, before Chain Game 4, I had the warped perception that RPGs without random battles or a traditional battle system of some kind were just "interactive novels". How wrong was I. Due to the limitation of no DBS and random battles, I worked hard to come up with alternatives, even CBSs as well. As you will see in my chapter, I had several ideas that I thought would be good, and four of the five "sub-chapters" in my chapter involved some sort of mini-game. Beforehand, i had several mini-games planned, but was beaten to the punch in most instances (the using multiple characters thing in Chapter 5 (give or take) and Nessiah's game). I had expanded on Nessiah's mini-game by making a full-fledged "battle system" out of it, if you will. I had tweaked (removing the pre-turn hint for instance except for the last battle of the scenario where it is expanded on) the mini-game to be more biased in one attack's favor. (i.e. ) I didn't want it to seem as a cheap knock-off of Nessiah's original work, as my system was coded from scratch.

Anyways, pushing my creativity to its limits, I created some quirky mini-games. I won't spoil these, but I believe them to be quite original. :)

Sorry to ramble on like that, but to make long story short, I learned how to go above and beyond the standards and consistencies of your garden-variety run-of-the-mill RPG. Please discuss, I would like to hear from all of you.

...for me to ever buy a Square Enix product again!

I am utterly appalled by the decision to make this game XBox-exclusive. Not only can I not afford an XBox on top of a PS3, I also have a personal vow to never buy a game system by Microsoft, since I'm a purist and believe Microsoft should just stick to computers and leave games to Sony and Nintendo. But, NO, Square Enix had to go and make the game exclusive to an inferior system that's sold a mere 11 copies in Japan. I mean Blue Dragon didn't increase 360 sales over there, so what the fuck is SE thinking!?

Rant over. Discuss this game.

FILLER CHARACTERS!!!

What's so highlight about filler fights?

Okay, I admit, I don't remember much about all these fillers. I only remember the really enjoyable ones, which for me were Nami, Usopp, and Sanji's. Zoro and Chopper's were okay, but I didn't like them to much. All I remember about Goat Island was that I fell asleep in it and Rainbow Mist was overly bland. I don't even remember if there WERE fights... Overall, the blandness deserves a 5.

Hey everyone, Kitsune here. I've been seriously considering giving 30 dollars to the community for GW6, so I plan on buying two memberships, one for me and one for somebody else. I am receiving a moderate sum of money from my parents and I plan to buy myself a premium with it, as well as one for someone else. Just post in here and tell me why I should waste fifteen bucks on you. The memberships will be bought on February 1st, so start groveling for one, kids! :D

Alabasta is long and boring for its first stretch up until Rainbase (early 100s of the arc) when the stage begins to set up. The next part (110s) is when the crew takes on Baroque Works on the final part (120s) leads up to the main fight. Everyone gets to fight and a nakama whose been around joins the crew officially at the end. Overall the fights were solid (I liked all the main ones), but the general buildup is riddled with filler. Overall, I give this arca respectable 9.

Almost done with Alabasta. Now for some real fun ^_^ It's Drum Island!

Captain Morgan Arc: 4.8 averaged of 7 votes
Buggy Arc: 5.0 averaged of 6 votes
Kuro Arc: 7.6 averaged of 7 votes
Baratie Arc: 7.7 averaged of 11 votes
Arlong Arc: 8.3 averaged of 13 votes
Loguetown Arc: 7.3 averaged of 8 votes
Apis Filler/Reverse Mountain Arc: 5.0 averaged of 10 votes
Whiskey Peak Arc: 7.7 averaged of 7 votes; 6.2 averaged of 9 votes

Episodes: 78-91
Newcomers:
-Wapol
-Chess
-Marimo
-Dr. Kureha
-Dalton
-Tony Tony Chopper
-Dr. Hiruluk
-Ace
-BB
Highlight Fights
Luffy vs Wapol
Luffy/Sanji vs Lapahn
Dalton vs Wapol
Dr. Hiruluk vs Wapol
Chopper vs Chessmarimo
Luffy vs Wapol

Despite introducing a new nakama for the crew, we also get a fairly uneventful arc, which is not unlike the other character recruitment arcs. It is a very "by the numbers" recruitment arc, but that does nothing to stop it from being good. This is the first arc where Zoro practically does nothing. However, Chopper is great and I bet a lot of people agree with me. I give it a nice, solid 8.

Next arc is Little Garden. Please guys, keep the votes serious. I had to calculate two different scores for Whiskey Peak since I can't tell if Musclerash or that guy with three posts are serious or not :\

Captain Morgan Arc: 4.8 averaged of 7 votes
Buggy Arc: 5.0 averaged of 6 votes
Kuro Arc: 7.6 averaged of 7 votes
Baratie Arc: 7.7 averaged of 11 votes
Arlong Arc: 8.3 averaged of 13 votes
Loguetown Arc: 7.3 averaged of 8 votes
Apis Filler/Reverse Mountain Arc: 5.0 averaged of 10 votes
Whiskey Peak Arc: 7.7 averaged of 7 votes; 6.2 averaged of 9 votes

Episodes: 70-77
Newcomers:
-Brogy
-Dorry
-Mr. 3
-Miss Goldenweek
-Mr. 0 :fogetgasp:
Highlight Fights
Brogy vs Dorry
Zoro vs Sanji (comical)
Zoro/Brogy/Dorry/Nami/Vivi vs Mr. 3/Miss Goldenweek/Mr. 5/Miss Valentine
Luffy vs Miss Goldenweek
Usopp/Carue vs Mr. 3/Miss Goldenweek/Mr. 5/Miss Valentine
Zoro vs Mr. 5
Vivi/Nami vs Miss Valentine
Luffy vs Mr. 3
Carue vs Miss Goldenweek
Sanji vs Unluckies (zomg, Sanji did something?)

I love Little Garden. It is my favorite One Piece arc that isn't dragged out a bazillion episodes (I'm looking at you, NES...) All the fun of One Piece, everything that makes One Piece what it is is here, in only eight easily consumable episodes. Lack of Sanji :( aside, I give Little Garden a perfect 10, since it is my favorite.

(NOTE: All votes for Bazillions! will only count as ten.)

I totally forgot this until a random click on the GWiki led me back :p Anyways, moving on, we'll be rating the Whiskey Peak Arc, which will include Koby-Meppo for convenience.

Captain Morgan Arc: 4.8 averaged of 7 votes
Buggy Arc: 5.0 averaged of 6 votes
Kuro Arc: 7.6 averaged of 7 votes
Baratie Arc: 7.7 averaged of 11 votes
Arlong Arc: 8.3 averaged of 13 votes
Loguetown Arc: 7.3 averaged of 8 votes
Apis Filler/Reverse Mountain Arc: 5.0 averaged of 10 votes

Episodes: 64-69
Newcomers:
-Princess Vivi
-Igaram
-Miss Monday
-Mr. 5
-Miss Valentine
-Miss All-Sunday
-Mr. 13
-Miss Friday
-Garp
Highlight Fights
Zoro vs An Entire Freaking Town
Luffy vs Zoro
Mr. 5/Miss Valentine vs Mr.8/Mr.9/Miss Monday/Miss Wednesday
Luffy/Zoro vs Mr. 5/Miss Valentine (Wut fight? lul)
Strawhats vs Miss All-Sunday

If anything defines true One Piece fun, it's Whiskey Peak. This entire arc (well the non-serious parts) had me in stitches, from Miss Wednesday and Mr. 9's antics all the way to the missed Kilo Kilo Press. While the arc sets the stage for the Baroque Works Saga, it does it while being... well, One Piece. I also enjoyed the serious parts, as this arc introduces two of my favorite One Piece girls. While the KobyMeppo story wasn't very much to look at (I skipped it), Whiskey Peak gets a9 from me.

Now, I know this is old and there is already a three month old topic (necro rules apply), but now that the project is nearing four months old, what does everyone think about it. By the way, for those in the dark:

http://ff7.ocremix.org/

Anyways, I downloaded on Day 1 and easily my favorite track is Mark of the Beatsmith. Just something about it makes it awesome. Crystal Sermon, Ahead on Our Rave, Lunatic Moon, Every Story Begins With A Name, J-E-N-O-V-A Celestial are all high points for me in this project. (Listening to Ahead on Our Rave as we speak, fucking awesome song)
