I wanna ask is mapping incredibly important in Rm2k3 games i really want to know because i started making a game but im not that good at mapping,im currently making the battles there pretty fun i enjoy them alot and my story will be cliche at points but still unique(i dont wanna spoil it)

So will my game be hated if the mapping isnt very good or will people still enjoy it.

Is mapping very important because im making a game right now the mapping isnt horrible but could be alot better i want to know will my game be hated if the mapping isnt great because im currently doing the battles there very enjoyable and my story is going to be cliche at points but very good (i dont want to spoil).

So final fantasy 13 is going to be released around March next year here in Australia I have to say it sounds pretty bad all the characters look very dull,Theres hardly any towns (You buy items from save points),It uses a levelling system alot like 10s sphere grid,The gameplay is so linear the areas are one-way straight its almost impossible to get lost,The story seems like its going to be very cliche And The $120 price tag

So what are your thought on all of this Good Or Bad? If you have any points please present them i want my mind to be changed so that i will be happy about 13 coming out not dreading it.

My cpu randomly shows up a captcha code and shuts down if i dont type it correctly within 3 minitues thisis especially annoying when im playing games and find myself spending more time on the codes than gaming is there anyway to fix this??.

Personally I found Neo-Exdeath the hardest.
He found Sin the hardest (even though he used zanmato and killed him in one hit).
