heh in my AP chemistry class we were only allowed to use scientific calculators because on the AP exam for chemistry you're not allowed graphing calculators.   Much to my dismay, this continued when I took chemistry in college, but next semseter I have a calculus class, perhaps I can relive those glory days of calculator games

also does anybody remember what that one game was called, the one with the ball that you had to roll down the screen as the screen scrolled down, and there were platforms and if you had to avoid getting stuck on the platforms and as the game went on the platforms would have less holes in them and would move closer together?  It was a pretty basic and small game and I used to be absolutely amazing at it, but now I cannot even think of the name of the game

I was a master at playing games in a way that made it look like I was doing math.

That and I was running my games through some other program that let me hit a button to instantly quit them in case the teacher came by.

I've resolved never to play another DS FPS after playing Metroid Prime Hunters as the controls were the worst things I've ever seen.

well just because they were made doesn't make them any less dumb   im being a bit presumptious because I haven't played them I suppose but the idea of a "portable" FPS has never appealed to me in the first place on any sort of system, and one on an admittedly underpowered system such as the DS just doesn't appeal to me

If you say so, though the power of the platform hasn't kept it from seeing good games in that genre.  If it can manage it, that really shouldn't be a big deal.  I've certainly played better RPGs on the DS than on any "next gen." platform thus far. :P (Admittedly, Tales of Vesperia comes close.)

did wolfenstein on ti-83 ever get better? i could only play it for 30 seconds because the demo was so shitty you could get shot at from people in another room or around the wall.

anyways. moon on ds is a decent title. If you knock on ds shooters, you've never played one. the touch screen works great and they are fun. and its like playin an n64 game on the go. graphics aren't everything tool bags.

I don't know what the deal is with this and The Conduit . . . they are both pretty uninteresting games with better-than-you-expect-on-second-rate-hardware graphics that a lot of people are rallying behind because . . . why?  Novelty or something?  I don't know.  I couldn't really be less interested in this than I already am.
