Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

This has been a bad week for celebrities. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and now Michael Jackson.

Edit: Reportedly dead. I can't find another news story at the moment to confirm this one, but that shouldn't take too long if it's true.

I agree, but it's the only one I could find so far. I was just flipping through the news channels as well, and they're only reporting that he suffered a heart attack, so we'll have to wait and see just how long it is before they confirm it.

My brother just told me, but I haven't read the word dead anywhere.

Anyway, if he is dead, then that just strikes me as surprising more than anything else. I mean I don't know much about him other than the obvious, but I thought he was going to be in the news getting called weird by whoever for years to come.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun on this but I am surprised with some of the reactions I've heard so far. Like, aside from how it is a bummer and strange to hear about any person you were vaguely aware of dying, I don't really feel much about this. I didn't know that young people still thought of him as the king of pop guy.
