I can't believe people still play WoW I guess it's EQ syndrome all over again. Like even if I didn't think it was a piece of shit game at this point it's just wasting money because it's been on the market so long it's pretty much impossible to make anything new and exciting for it. Just rinse poop and repeat basically.
it's fun if you have someone to play with. i still don't care about raiding too much but i have never even played any bc/wotlk content and cataclysm is coming out soon so i got some motivation to play again. it's still the best and pretty much only worthwhile mmorpg there is! you got a point though, it's too streamlined/easy nowadays. way too easy to level, you can instantly warp to any instance without having to party up the hard way and actually finding/going to the instance, world pvp has died since battlegrounds were implemented and almost every character which isn't level 80 is someone's alt and everyone knows exactly how to play and yeah, it's less exciting overall for those reasons. it'll never be as fun as it used to be especially when there were like 20-30 of us gwers playing it but it's still fun enough to play. if there was another good mmorpg i'd probably play it instead but there isn't. so i suppose we'll just have to wait for the next blizzard mmorpg.

Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes not a bad new game for 40 bucks a lot of re-playability since there is 16 Playables heroes, multiple endings, multiple weapons, customization Items and Leveling allies makes it a good game. But don't get me wrong it dose get repetitive but in a whole good stuff.

And why in the hell do I like this song.

Forever's End.
Yeah, it's good.I talked with the creator about a few plot holes and spelling mistakes after I played, and tossed around a few ideas.. I assume the comic-style cut scenes shown in the video won't actually premier until the NEXT demo?

The reason WoW is the only good MMO is because all other MMO's have no chance of succeeding regardless how good they are. And that's simply because WoW has so many freaking players who will take WoW over every other game. Age of Conan, Warhammer, all of them failed miserable compared to WoW. Blizzard just has a too big headstart, they've been in the game for five years.

Biggest glitch so far for me in fallout vegas has been a supposed team member actually not joining my group. I was doing the ghoul mission where you gotta help them launch their rockets to outerspace (wherever the fuck they were going, who knows), and as the head ghoul was blabbering on I decided to talk to the dude that thinks hes a ghoul but he's human, and he was all like i was tricked omg by these ghouls, they used me blah blah, then hes like I guess you want me to join you now. Right then it did some random glitch and closed the message window, so I talk to him again and hes like dont bug me the journey is about to begin. So then I go to the top and launch the damn rockets, they fly off into space, leaving this miserable chap on his own still standing next to the intercom. I come back to the place, and the rockets are gone (sadly enough theres another glitch where theres still ONE ghoul just chilling in the place where the rockets were lol), so I talk to the ghoul-wannabe man and he says the same shit about "not now the journeys about to begin" or something. I can't get that one achievement anymore :( . Ah well still a good game, one of my favourites so far.

I'll be playing Fable 3 in an hour so kinda hyped for that!

Fallout 3 was just as buggy on release anyway.

Most of it is patched now, I'm barely running into bugs. Most of the ones I do run into are just your general engine bugs courtesy of Gamebryo.

Can't blame Obsidian for that. I only hope Bethesda ditches Gamebryo for their next Elder Scrolls/Fallout experience.

They do have the idTech engine at their disposal, so they might shift from the 10 year old shitpile. Wouldn't bet on it though.

They should've done it for New Vegas. The QA section at bethesda must be one really lazy guy who is not doing his job correctly.

i'm not having nearly as many technical problems with new vegas as everyone has been suggesting. i had one crash, this absolutely hilarious bug(from equipping a clip mod on the 10mm weathered pistol that you get from the gamestop classic dlc), and two problems with characters getting stuck in solid objects(once me, once a teammate). i guess that sounds like a lot but i like fucking around with these sorts of games in order to break them and expected these problems to be much worse. also i am binge playing this game so these four issues over 25 hours is not bad. i had fucking fifteen crashes in scott pilgrim vs the world in half as much total time playing it, and was expecting new vegas to be along those lines.

regardless, the game is really solid. outside of the engine, it definitely feels more like fallout 2 than it does fallout 3, which i had kinda wanted to see. i think there are a lot of things done right with this game. the writers took some care to make the game less about some overwhelmingly clear GOOD/EVIL struggle, where everyone very clearly falls on one side of the spectrum or the other. this game does that right for the setting, where everyone is pretty much an enormous fucking dickhead and there's very rarely anybody particularly admirable. i'm rather far into the game and the only people who i could honestly call GOOD GUYS were the and a couple of the random townsfolk who aren't ambitious enough to be evil. and when you take a side it's usually because you're planning to kill them later or because you can mostly tolerate them in spite of their shortcomings. i've actually had to kinda stop and think about the ramifications of my actions on several occasions, which i rarely ever had to do in fallout 3, or really in any game for that matter.

a lot of other things this game did right too. bringing back a large amount of mark morgan's soundtrack from the first two fallout games was great, although it would have been nicer to see just an entirely new soundtrack from him. either way, that was sorely missing from fallout 3. wayne newton as the main radio broadcaster in the game was an excellent choice. he's nowhere near as good as malcolm mcdowell was in fallout 3(although i don't see how anybody could beat that), but newton fits as well in this game as anybody. also william sadler is outstanding in this game as victor. i had absolutely no idea that was him, and i'm usually pretty good at spotting familiar actors in videogames.

but the best part of fallout new vegas is

kinda rambling, but it's a good game. i still don't find it as purely engaging or gripping as the first two fallouts were, but it's worth your time if you like the fallout games and want more of that. one of the few newer games that's actually worth it.

but deadly premonition is still the game of the year.

They should've done it for New Vegas. The QA section at bethesda must be one really lazy guy who is not doing his job correctly.
lol i actually know one of the testers at bethesda. and yes i can confirm that he is very lazy and is definitely either some high functioning autistic or has aspergers. i'm really impressed the game is in as good a shape as it is to be honest. that my xbox hasn't caught on fire(yet) means he's made some major strides in the not accidentally maim yourself on innocuous office equipment department.
