bah, football. (American or otherwise)

Morrowinding: I earned about 200k in gold from just going into a tomb, killing and soul trapping some the randomly spawned enemies. Then went to Caldera and sold them all to Scamp.
I basically don't have to worry about money anymore.

it's weird that open world games like that still don't seem to have found a good way to implement a gold system.  morrowind's was too easy to break, and skyrim's (i'm ignoring oblivion since it's a non-game and doesn't exist) was way too stingy and punitive, esp hiding the perks that let shop keepers have more gold in the most useless and poorly designed skill tree.

You didn't like oblivion? (I've only played a few hours, but it seemed pretty fun to me)

I've never been into football (not American football btw ;_; ) before, this is more of a MANAGEMENT/TYCOON GAME!

Although it IS making me interested in it, for sure.

I think it was interesting how there was a huge public outcry regarding his baldness when they first started releasing press shots, then the game got delayed and then images surfaced of different times in the game when Max has and doesn't have hair.  Clearly the baldy protagonist isn't good for share prices.

The choice of first screen shots they used was probably a bad one, I think they should've focused more on the noire aspect of the game (which it does have, you just have to delve deeper into the media). I have some sort of Uncharted/Modern Warfare 2 style vibe that's slowly being overwritten by the newer media releases which make me see it as more true to the Max Payne series.

In a nutshell, I'm hopeful but I'm not *pumped* as I have been for recent games.

That's probably the best way to be considering I got a massive ME3 boner, bought it on the first day and didn't play more than 5 hours in total.

That might have something to do with the postgraduate lifestyle.

anybody try Legend of Grimrock yet? http://www.grimrock.net/

It's like old school Dungeon Master or whatever. Pretty well done actually, for $13 can't go wrong. They've done a great job with it, for sure.
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

The fast travel guy for the stilt strider in Balmora has randomly vanished in my game.

Also, currently working on Fighter's Guild stuff, But I just recently was able to access the last couple of quests for the thieves guild.

Its funny, as a kid when I played this I paid basically no attention to the actual quests, main or otherwise, or even the actual way that leveling/skills effected the game. I just ran around, exploring, killing people, stealing stuff, and bizarrely being obsessed with alchemy.

Now for me its ALL about the quests and making sure I'm efficiently leveling and getting the best gear. And to some degree, story.

well shit. i actually RAN to kickstarter to throw my obligatory fifteen bucks in to find that they've already reached the milestone. like now they're already just outright listing chris avellone as one of the game's developers.

dropped fifteen bucks anyway, even though i am ABSURDLY POOR and should be funding my own projects right now.

I'm gonna guess that you guys have already talked about Mass Effect 3's ending so I probably don't have anything worthwhile to add so I'll just say: yeah it was pretty dumb I guess but man the internet is just the worst

It is especially deflating when you hear things from the internet parroted in real life. Just vacant.

I bought it but haven't played yet. I was gonna play through all of em and then get to it. I just hope its not too terrible. I don't think so. I'll prolly be dissapointed if its not like the 2nd but I'll still like it enough to finish.

Currently Kid Icarus Uprising. Apart from the damage it's probably doing to my hands, it's great fun. My 3DS is the only gaming device I currently have (apart from my PC, but I'm not big on PC games) since I got robbed a few months ago. They took absolutely everything gaming-wise except for retro consoles and games T_T

The internet is awful with spoilers. And I sort of hate it for that.

I actually didn't mean because of spoilers because I normally don't mind them and can avoid them easily enough if I want to.  It's more the insane outrage over the ending that I find irritating.  GET OVER IT NERDS.  There was some internet contest somewhere for the worst company in America (or just in general?) that EA "won" over Bank of America, and yeah I understand that it is just some nonsense internet contest with no effect on the business practices of the companies that win, but it just strikes me as INTERNET CRUSADE that was perpetuated by people who got up in arms over the ending of ME3.  (Also I understand that EA has a number of other shitty business practices but I'm still convinced it was the ME3 ending that convinced the mouth breathers that they were worse than fucking BANK OF AMERICA).  dumb ending, who cares.
