Welp. I almost beat Medal of Honor (PS1), and I DID beat Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive.

Next in line is Call of Duty 2. But I've grown a tad tired of WW2 games. so I'm going to take a break, I have 2 other games that I want to play which one should I play next?

Saints Row 2 (PC)
Mass Effect (PC)

im playing the breath of fire series and I'm surprised at how capcom got away with making the same game so many time in a row
the only good one is dragon quarter, and it is one of the best games on the playstation 2. you can probably get it for $3.

I still haven't completed Dragon Quarter. I don't know if I ever will but a PS2 is the only console I really have left now so maybe.

I am playing Siren and Sins of A Solar Empire.

Siren seems cool so far. The plot is really, really sparse and it's told out of chronological order which is interesting. I have only played the first few missions but the game does a good job of making you feel helpless and very at risk at all times so far. I hope the story picks up. I don't expect it to be executed well, or anything, but I like games like this that have good ideas. Like Silent Hill 2, that was a game with alot of good ideas that weren't executed so well. Siren was made by the same guy as Silent Hill 2.

Sins Of A Solar empire is just a space rts, but it's a really good one so far. I've been having alot of fun with it. If I could play it online, I'd love to play with someone from around here. You can name all your planets and hero ships, and having a galaxy populated by things named "Flib Ribbit", "Stink Ball", "Plibpt.", "Flennum" would be cool.

Has anyone played these games? Weigh in.

Got back to playing The Longest Journey and actually managed to complete it this time around, which is a big achievement for me lol. Anybody played that game? It's actually amazing the longer you get in it and the characters are probably the most charismatic and well-developed I've ever seen in a game, which is pretty cool. yep. >_>

Just got the sequel (dreamfall) but I'm very disappointed they made it into an action game cause I really enjoyed being able to lie down on a couch and just click around on the screen with my tabletpc and not having to sit up to worry about controls. Anybody know of any other cool point n' click games out there? Gonna play Grim Fandango again cause I remember it being pretty cool too.

edit
Meh.. just read that Grim Fandango doesn't work with Vista

edit2
Just learned about the wonders of patches >_>

I tried playing Grim Fandango but I was doing it on a mac and there was a program written to make it run but it was in a very early stage so I got maybe an hour into the game and it couldn't progress any further without crashing :(

I've heard a lot of things about Grim Fandango, so I'm thinking about getting my hands on a copy.

I rented the G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra game. What a pile of garbage. It made me sad.
Check it out! I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!

The only game I've been playing recently is Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions on the PSP.  I beat the original game on PS1 a few times, but I haven't been able to sit through it on PSP yet.  Just kind of playing whenever I get really bored.

Still a really fun game, and the translation is really incredible (magnified by a billion if you remember how bad the previous PS1 translation was).

I beat Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne the other day. I think I got the worst possible ending. Kagatsuchi yelled at me for being stupid, I didn't get to fight it, and I saw a picture of my character (Attucks 'Clispath' Crispus) standing on a sand dune in a desolate desert world. It was a pretty strange and maybe even arbitrary plot device that only humans could have their own reasons though. I didn't align with any of the reasons because despite being a demon, I used to be a human and Futomimi, who wasn't a human, was also trying to get a reason. I thought I might be able to get one too!!! Looks like I couldn't, or if I could I didn't do it right!!!

I'm giving FF8 a whirl.  I'm trying to decide if I love or hate the Junction system.  It involves a lot of strategy and planning, but anytime I have to rearrange things, it takes me so damn long because I like my party to be optimal.  I'm trying to avoid GF summoning as much as possible because the "foreplay" is takes so LONG.

I mostly loved it for Franziska but I do admit that the last case was basically what MADE it.

Yeah this. 2-4 was pretty good, but 3-5 easily kicked it to shit imo. My order's the same as yours!

Hey, can I ask what's so fun about Fallout 3? I'm trying REALLY HARD to enjoy this game but, like, damn, I think I'm missing something.

Man I think the thing about fallout 3 is

there's SO MUCH TO DO

Honestly you can stray so far from the main quest and still find so much going on. I had more fun finding/completing random sidequests than finishing the actual story. I will admit the combat becomes really tiresome but at the same time, I don't know if it was half-cut playing, it was kind of routine for me. The combat was simple and could be played in two totally different ways; and I really liked it for that. Favourite quest was It's just the sheer open wilderness of the game that appeals to me. Anyone been in .

I think the reason is I'm a total cheapo and Fallout 3 if you get used to the combat, dialogue etc etc. is literally months worth of game. and for me that's hugely important. I suppose I'm easily pleased, BUT I've spent so long on Fallout 3 it's just kind of second nature. It's probably worth a lot more than most games these days. imo
