Modern warfare 2 is a shitty game, man. That franchise has gone to hell and back and now it's covered in aids and shit. Fuck you and the games you like.

I'm playing Battletoads.

I am almost done beating WET, probably going to pick up Modern Warfare 2 this morning.

I also have been playing Borderlands on PC, pretty enjoyable.

I'm not really enjoying the campaign on Modern Warfare 2. It's not very well done.

So, I spent like the last four hours playing online. Pretty much what I expected.

Several hours later, I hate FIFA10 online because everyone plays as Chelsea and it's boring.

Sounds a lot like SF4 online.  Let's play Ken over and over again.

I mean, like I wouldn't mind but I only like to play as teams like SUNDERLAND AND BOLTON and even if I'm a better player than them they'll always beat me in the pace and the tackling stakes. It's annoying!

Right now, I'm playing Overlord 2, Warhammer Online, and Final Fantasy VI Advance.

I always seem to make it so that I'm playing a Console Game, an Online or PC Game, and a Hand Held Game, around the same time I don't know why. Overlord 2 is pretty sweet so far, I love Warhammer Online, and FF6 is still my favorite game of all time.

Waiting on DDS to get here, so playing Overlord: Raising Hell, with the occaisional SMW and SMT when I feel like recording some more videos.

Overlord seems to more open than it's sequal, with the obvious, Zelda-like, restrictions of requiring x minion to get into y place, but the humour is fine so far. Fave line so far is Gnarl commenting on how Melvin (The first boss) is running, or rather, waddling away. It also seems to be harder than the second game too, if your squad of minions isn't well chosen, you can find yourself being overwhelmed extremely quick, which I found out after half my minions were slain by a jerky group of halflings :(

of course it does, it's call of duty. it's not going to get bad reviews by any paid critics.

I am not a call of duty fanboy, I enjoyed 4 and world at war for multiplayer. modern warfare 2 sort of just isn't doing it for me.

What's so bad about it? I played it last night and although it's not that much different from modern warfare 1, it is pretty fucking good.

To suggest that ALL the critics are paid off is really hard to imagine...

hell, its hard to imagine any of them being paid off. I find the idea entirely and overly paranoid. I imagine maybe someone would believe this if they found that their personal favorite game to be a lower score then another game that they view with contempt... so they refuse to believe that their game is considered lesser and start thinking the critics are paid off. Sounds like denial.

anyways, I'm thinking about getting it for PC. but I dunno, the whole bullshit with no dedicated servers really depresses me. I'd not buy it but I doubt that actually help the 'dedicated' cause at all. It'd just be one less PC purchase, plus I actually want to play the single player as well, and that's not going to to be effected by matchmaking.

Seriously hate matchmaking though. Like, I love Halo, but I hate the fact that it brought matchmaking into existence. Though I CoD4 had a decent connection on consoles despite being P2P. and I've heard on the internet elsewhere that connection speed is good in the US and Europe...

I just don't know. Feel like if I buy it I'm selling my soul. But its hard to NOT buy it. though I got to wait anyway I guess... since it hasn't released for PC yet.

you make it sound like they're taking bribes (which would be pretty paranoid), but you have to admit that a large percentage of reviewers come from magazines or websites who are paid to advertise for games that they review, which is going to affect the outcome of the review!

They don't need to it's fucking awesome. People saying it's shit have no idea what they are on about. If they bought it on the basis of MW1 it is perfect fan service.

I don't know one way or another about this particular game I just mean in a general sense you can't take game reviews seriously.
