Elaborate? I've only heard good things about it.

For a third person shooter the controls feel really fucking clunky, the entire action aspect seems clunky actually. Like, I wasn't enjoying myself. I usually absolutely adore sandbox open world games, and from the horizon of the demo it looks excellent but the gameplay just didn't feel right.

Yeah I played the first one a little, it felt incredibly bland to me. Not to surprising that the new one sucks as well.

That is really depressing, because everything I've seen about Just Cause 2 so far looks amazing :( I didn't like the first one very much at all and was hoping they'd fixed it up for the sequel! Bugger!

Exactly my opinion when I was watching gameplay videos.

The shooting aspect just felt bland as, which is something that needs to be good in an action game. Who knows, maybe if I play the demo a bit more it'll grow on me.

I highly doubt it though.

EDIT:

I may have just proven myself wrong. Played for about half an hour, and it began to warm on me. BUT the only way this could hold up as a good game would be a really good story with good calibre voice acting (sadly one thing that doesn't sound like it was a focus).

Having just beat Heavy Rain (awesome game by the way... well, maybe not a game per say, but an awesome "experience". Yeah, that fits) I purchased Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and so far I like it. Typical R&C fare, but that's a good thing. I do like the upgrading your weapons grid system - even though it doesn't really seem like it forces you to choose since you can upgrade everything without worrying.. but it's a nice touch nonetheless.

I would say it isn't, mostly because you've already played everything that is interesting about the bioshock series in the first game.   Its not like its a bad game, its just that there isn't anything going for it except most of the same gameplay combined with a far inferior plot.  Its basically another countless example of a good game that got an unnecessary sequel just because everybody seemed to want to give them more money.

If you liked the first Bioshock for its gameplay, I'd say is probably worth it. As the singleplayer is just as fun as the first game if not slightly shorter.

Its only slightly more worth it if you like multiplayer (especially one that lets you unlock stuff as you play) and don't mind lag (lag can get pretty bad). and on PC's it has matchmaking instead of ded. servers. However it actually has players playing it so you shouldn't have to much issues finding a match.

Story is very meh. Like its not BAD, but its not excellent either.

EDIT: also, beat Medal of Honor Airborne already.
