Oh yeah man I totally did! My brother has a copy as well so I was pretty excited that we could play co-op without having to dish out more money. Also I overall agree with the online pass idea, I mean they get screwed over on re-selling the game and it makes sense and is totally fair IMO, but it would be very stupid to require you to buy it even if you legit purchased the game (I had my copy reserved for fuckin like 4 months).

So "Your the man" DDay, x2.
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

Holy Umbrella: Dondera's Wild!, a wacky platformer with RPG elements from Japan. I think I'll stick with this one for a while. If you play it, make certain to get the translation patch here.

I beat the main quest in Skyrim and wow... what a half-assed ending. I mean at least Obllivion was like "Here's a cutscene and some information about what happened as a result of your actions." Skyrim's is just like "Thanks for killing the bad guy, dude. Why not go and do more quests? We have A SHITLOAD of them."

And spoiler alert I guess, the guy you have to beat before you are considered worthy of fighting the last boss is way harder than the actual boss. I had crazy armor perks but this guy could still kill me in like 3 hits. Then the final boss is like... not even the hardest dragon I fought. He did, however, have a cool death animation that reminded me of old Final Fantasy end boss deaths.

This is the last I'm going to post about Skyrim because I'm considering myself done with it for a while. I guess it's quite the accomplishment to have made a game that big, but I wouldn't even say it's the best game Bethesda made.

Im doing all of the side/pointless quests in Skyrim before I can even begin the main quest lol. Bought a horse for a 1000 and then I had to jump off of a mountain cus an ice leopard was chasing me. I survived, my horse didn't :(. The map that comes with skyrim when you buy it is pretty badass, ive been jotting down points of interests and where giants are and what not. Overall I'm satisfied that I dished out 70 bucks for this game, I usually pirate.

Where does your horse go if you fast travel somewhere? or end up in a dangerous area which is most of the game... it just dies everytime?

I've just been exploring the land looking for random dragons to kill, got a bunch of dragon souls with no more shouts to spend them on.

I have to admit, It's a LOT easier to get money this time around, I had over 10k by the time I went to riften and probebly made double that (spend a bit on a house and some other stuff and a horse). Also if you fast travel your horse comes with you, fast travel to a town and it's in the stables, fast travel to a location and it's either behind your if your not mounted or your on the horse if you are. Also the horse animations are a lot MORE realistic then in oblivion.

Any way, I gotta say, can't you just enjoy the game? why does everything have to have a reward? I like exploring for no other reason then to see whats on the other side of the hill, I like fighting dragons becuase there just epic to fight, even if they go down kinda quick I still find it just EPIC and fun. I also like the quests and characters and I do the quests not for the in-game reward but just becuase I like story and even when I finish the main quest line (if i ever get around to it) I'm still gonna keep playing.

Dragons really aren't epic at all when you realise a goddamn saber tooth cat can easily beat one into the ground. How did they not pick up on how pathetic they are in testing?

I haven't even played this game but it seems more likely to me that dragons were a lot stronger, but then during the testing phase they decided that a player needs to be able to beat one in a relatively short time, otherwise they'll get bored.

clearly the solution should've been 'make fighting dragons more interesting', not 'ruin the spectacle of the dragons by making them lightweight'

I usually just ignore dragons and let them kill NPCs while I continue my quest. Then again, I'm at the point where I do that to pretty much everything. "Oh look a fortress, full of bandits, been there and done that. What's that a cave? Full of renegade mages? Again... What about this troll/bear nest? Nah. Oh ruins! With the same old draugr and skeletons... for the fifth hundred time.".

The game just lacks unique places and the enemy AI and diversity is just non-existant.

I think with the dragons they knew that by having them roam anywhere you were bound to run into them at a low level and shouts where enough of a part of the game that you'd need to be able to kill them fairly easily. I think whem you were still level 5 or so fighting dragons was fun and challenging, but by the time perks have accumulated they are really easy. Towards the end of the main story there's a couple of dragons as mooks in one of the levels. If you level up enough different kinds of dragons show up that are much harder, like Ice and Blood dragons. Not unstoppable, but by that time I could kill regular dragons in about 10 hits.

The Blood Dragons and stuff are an example of how they could've solved this issue. It's basically level scaling, and they could have easily kept upping the ante with dragon types. But they don't, really, and the dragon types are spaced out to the point where you spend a long time killing dragons in like five power attacks before the game decides to push it up a level.

I decided to use up all the leather I had stocked up just to get rid of it and ended up getting 2-3 levels from a full iventory of leather wraps. I then figured I may as well get rid of all those useless petty soul gems I had stored up and enchanted all the leather wraps only to get another 2-3 levels. I then went to a bunch of merchants to sell all the handwraps only to get another level from bartering.

Got like 7 levels in about 15mins.

wwe12. I don't wtch wrestling, but I love the creation options these games provide. I have a cast of around 30 characters I create in each one, and continue its stories year on year. Just uploading more tracks to use as entrance music.
This one has a better physics system and more realistic interactions, and the ability to get announcers to name your characters, however with a limited number of names, you have to improvise and make compound names. Orion has to be made as O-Ryan, and Barroness is B-Aarron-S
but it's fun :)

I made a second character and after completely neglecting the smithing and bartering the last time I was amazed how quickly you level up by making shit out of the stuff you just find lying around. I'm also amazed how much better my wood elf archer character is at killing things than my Redguard deathmachine was.

Also, is anyone else kind of sick of being the chosen one for everything in Skyrim? Just about every quest line tells you that you are the chosen one who is the only hope for saving their cause. I think they're over compensating for the fact that you just helped the chosen guy in the last game.

Finding the game really dull now that I've completed the main storyline, it felt so short. All thats left feels like sidequests which have no real impact or reward worth having..

I'm breaking da rulz here, but I'm going bring up a game I'm not playing(partly because it won't work for me =/). It is called Hatoful Boyfriend and it is a japanese dating sim(you can get a demo for free and there is an english patch available) in which you play the one human girl in a school full of birds. I could try to explain more, but I think its best if you just read this Let's Play on this site: http://www.quartertothree.com/game-talk/showthread.php?t=67529

And take make my post at least somewhat on topic, I started playing FO1 again and hopefully I actually get around to beating it this time! Seriously I must have tried at least 5 separate times before... usually well before I can actually beat the game something horrible happens(irl) and I am forced to start over.
