My dad just stayed in bed for too long today and he woke up feeling dizzy with double vision and when he looked in the mirror his eyes are going in random directions. He had this thing wrong with him 2 years ago where they thought it was a stroke but it was an infection of his semicircular canal in his ear (i think) that caused him to get really dizzy and throw up everywhere for days and now he has gone like this today but he isn't throwing up or anything he just feels really ill.
My mum just came up to me and asked me to google "detached retina" and I told her that he would be blind if his retina was detached but her asking me that is really kinda scary. We are waiting for a doctor to come to our house at the moment.
I have no real idea what could cause this to happen to my dad but I am really hoping it's not a stroke. He is 52 years old and his dad died quite young as well so I am just totally what the fuck right now.
Have any of you experienced something similar like this with people you know? I have no idea what is going on
