so the tallest tower of shit was completed in dubai, here's a video:

it's pretty horrifying
I've been hearing about this on the news and in various websites for a while now, and it's pretty neat that they finally managed to finish the construction. Some of the videos from the spire on top of it really shake me up and almost cause me to shit a brick just watching them. Unlike some peole, I can't stand heights; especially if i'm not watching the ground from the comfort of an airplane seat which, ironically, don't happen to terrify me as much. Unnerving feelings aside, sometimes I don't mind going to extreme heights just for the experience. The tallest freestanding structure that I have ever ascended has to be the
CN Tower. The glass floor up top, although pretty sturdy, just gives me the creeps as you can see down to the ground as if you're standing on air with nothing supporting you. But that was fairly local and I don't plan on flying to the United Arab Emirates anytime soon, so that's probably as high up in an actual structure that i'll go for a while.
But yeah, i've always been fascinated by MARVELS OF MODERN ENGINEERING, and it makes you wonder if the Western world with the "We can't be outdone" mindset will actually try to match the tower's scale.
