hi can we just rename the amendments instead of 1st amendment 2nd amendment can we call them 'that one about slavery' etc? I'm pretty sure I know all of them but I forget which things are lumped up in the same amendment. Instead of being simple let's waste a year of school teaching forcing kids to memorize abstract societal ideas in sequential order. Also that's a bunch of bs because there's like the one with the military can't BOARD in your house on a whim but probably only once has some schoolkid's test relied on knowing which amendment that was. Like it's always presented as the one about boarding /and/ right to bear arms right to assembly whichever ones are in the same amendment as long as you know one of those you're good
