Apparently I have to have a CT scan. Joy. I have been tested for HIV and hepatitis and a shitload of other stuff too the provisional good-news is that although they are inflamed in a well-distributed fashion my lymph nodes are smaller than your average cancer patient therefore it's more likely to be a really persistent bastard of a virus or a side-effect of the aforementioned skin drug. Can't wait to see that on paper, getting pretty annoyed with constant speculation and having a stiff neck.

Can't do exercise until they figure it out so no football for me. Grumble.

wikileaks has loads of disturbing stuff on there, i started checking it out last year. some creepy ones about how the cia can manipulate the fears of a country's population to get them to agree with the war and such.

so i was in the market for a full hd tv so it could double as a bigger computer monitor and as it happens, 47" is far too large to sit in front of.

there are some reasonable sized full-HD monitors with TV tuners+HDMI shit in them

i already got this one, it takes up half my wall and i have nothing that uses 1080p anyway. i probably should've gotten something smaller but this was a bargain!

Does anyone feel like we'll always be on the verge, but never cure HIV/AIDS/cancer?  They're these things that have been ever-present around me and in the media for my entire life, and they get such critical attention, but it's as if the cure is some unattainable Holy Grail.

I just assume people felt the same way about polio or something in that time. Totally don't mean that in a joking way more like once technology/medicine advances people take for granted I can imagine people feeling like polio would never get cured
