I have supposedly got Avoidant Personality Disorder (AvPD) as well as like OCD and shit, which I don't entirely buy the avpd, as it explains a little of my problems, but seems to ignore the other aspects, and y'know I go out all the time as well. but I've also heard one of the shrinks mention Borderline personality disorder, which can be blehg.

I was talking to Ramci the other day people really fucking like images of single trees in large expansive fields with overexposed photography and I think this says something about humanity or something

I am gleaning this from random youtube videos and the accompanying images to songs if it's also constantly the featured photography on DeviantArt or something then lol

also roads in the middle of autumn forests in a way that shows perspective leading into background. I'm going to photograph an autumn road from the side/photograph parallel to the road just to make people horribly confused

also is there like a theory not sure would it would be under art theory etc. but like seriously remember when the N64 came out and the packaging/logo had so much color and promise and it really gave a feeling of the game developers thought it was really cool to throw so many colors and things around even Goldeneye serious game for older people was like check out this green exit sign green russian gaurd outfit blatantly yellow ammo display maybe they couldn't tone down the colors back then but either way I like how now it's like playstation 2 playstation 3 the only colors we've heard of are black silver and blue sorry enjoy gears of war type stuff where we can't show a pixel where the hue value is above 37 we have come very far to achieve graphics like this but we can only reiterate the same one or two themes because we think enjoying colors is too gay/manbaby or whatever our deep insecurity is

Edit: I know N64 was the kid's system but even playstation games like Resident Evil had a million times more color than like the entire PS3 game library

Edit: even when games do have color it's like Katamari Damacy some weird pop art style I just miss the days when in a videogame a fire hydrant could be red and not some specific shade of red achieved by intensive color theory

every game should be like Space Funeral and be like fuck you color harmonies you've held us down for too long

Edit: haha seriously I think it's been the last couple of years does anybody know anything about video production have there been some serious advances in color correction etc. since the late 90's/early 00's? I was watching The World is Not Enough randomly don't ask why but my mind was blown in this random shot there were people wearing bright red R255G0B0 and I dunno they were some orthodox people and I was almost like fuck your religion it doesn't coalesce with the rest of the shot at all if this were a 2010 movie we'd force you to wear cool winter fresh blue or something

really it does agree with how I was saying everybody needs to get over symbolism this includes color symbolism

Edit: I think this is the appeal of MS Paint game contests too there is no way to achieve atmosphere in ms paint 16 color mode

Edit: but yeah like does anybody agree like every movie/tv show made in the past 6/7 years has to be like not good shots just every shot is so fucking on all the time everything feels constrained to me in some weird way it makes me claustrophobic like there is some hyper framing of shots going on or something. I think I mentioned I watched one of the Matrix movies for 15 minutes recently just to see if it's really that bad being hyper-stylized or whatever and yeah I guess but every once in a while they have these really cool open shots hallways etc I haven't watched a movie in the theater in forever though but it's incredibly disorienting. I dunno testing out my theory watching iron man 2 trailer he's over an entire city and it feels smaller than medium-sized foyer or whatever you call it where they had that fight scene in matrix reloaded

Edit: did anybody see Iron Man 2 now I know what bothered me so bad it seemed from the commercials like every shot was happening on a dinner napkin or I mean like on a 'stage' the size of a shoebox. I dunno he is in a racecar or something why is there no sense of perspective even though he's on a rather large racetrack everything feels like toy model cars
