Pro Complex whey is probably the best protein powder coming in at 60g per serving, combine it with supplements like NO-Explode/Superpump 250 about a half hour before your workout, also get a bunch of creatine+vitamins(I'd suggest Animal Pak stacked with Animal Pump*)
*if you're going with animal pump you can leave out the pre-workout NO/caffeine drink
start with things like bench presses(flat and incline), flys, crunches, dips, pullups, leg presses, pulldowns, curls/hammer curls, etc..
remember to eat a lot and eat healthy to get those gains: complex carbs, lean meats, nuts n' grains, and leafy greens as well as getting lots of water.
