I guess they took the album down now that you can buy it, but what I heard sounds like forgettable garbage that I'll probably be hearing on WMMR next to Trapt. more uninspired hard rock fuck ya sounds like some thing that wouldve been damn BIG in the 90s

actually I'm sorry I'm just posting because the circle jerk was getting a little out of control. leave big ass skelly alone.

I enjoy a good circlejerk. Especially when discussing new material by Josh Homme and co.

ahahahahahahaha trapt

you're so fucking dense, they don't even remotely sound like a 90s band stop pulling shit out of your ass. If you're going to find a reason to shoot them down make it legit.

OH WAIT DAVID GROHL IS IN IT = 90s

being big in the 90s would have made them a 90s band????

none of those bands you listed sound anything remotely like queens of the stone age sorry.

the fact that you got from nickelback to queens of the stone age tells me that you haven't ever actually listened to queens of the stone age

calm down yugoslav your judgement is being clouded by anger, and fear..allow me to explain this series of posts

would have been big, were it the 90s when music like this would have been fucken sweet. do you remember the hype around qotsa, audioslave and janes addiction when they came out? these guys are gonna be huge!! it wasn't the 90s, but it was a different time. this shouldn't have mattered tho, I apologized in in the second part of the post and mentioned that I was deliberately being a curmudgeon so the thread wouldn't look like a circlejerk. I think I'm a lot less effective at this than dietcoke.

WMMR is a rock station that plays stuff like I mentioned (all those bands blow)

I called you an inbred subhuman neanderthal as a joke mocking how you called me "fucking dense" for not liking the same music as you

I think that's it

nothing you said just made any sense.  especially since jane's addiction and queens of the stone age were around in the 90s (qotsa even formed in the 90s).    and both of them are huge

eatmygore i'm guessing that you've never listened to anything made before 2003

maybe to you, I only still hear them mentioned seriously on GW. kinda like with RHCP

not that I want to keep posting but I used to own qotsa's first couple albums(?) and I saw them live in 2003 alongside audioslave, and I had the jane's addiction from around that same time

universally qotsa and jane's addiction are pretty popular.   on the NIN/JA tour,  nin basically opened for JA.   what does that tell you about jane's addiction.

so here's what you're saying.  you know nothing about any of the bands that are being talked about here.

Jane's addiction isn't a good comparison anyway I don't get why anyone likes them they've got one decent song and thats the one about stealing shit. I saw them live at voodoofest and the only good thing about them was the fact that the singer dressed up in purple leather outfit with a cape and with a bottle of wine in his hand said, "Tonight, I'm a fuckin' superhero".

He also said he didn't like pop because it didn't get his dick hard and I thought that was kind of late but pretty funny.
