I wasn't even talking about this band at all I was just trying to explain to atari why I think climbtree couldn't pick out grohl's drumming I haven't even listened to the album yet.

so i listened to it and it was pretty good had some nice songs (elephants and scumbag blues were my favorites probably) but at the same time i think it was too samey and didn't sound very original. i don't get why you guys are orgasming all over this but i suppose i was never the biggest fan of hard rock like this. anyway, initial impression is that it's good but nothing special.

close your eyes (nearly there already) and listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2HBSbve1xA then open them and see if you guessed who was doing which part correctly. if you get it right you're the beat master, you have won this beat off.

either way josh homme is the only person i'd notice if they replaced since i distinguish between people based on the timbre not uhhhh volume.
