i thought dom was bretly whaaa???
hey i always played fallout without music but since I read this thread I decided to put on GNR and let me tell you my experience is ENHAAAAANCED. Also my roommate just happens to default listen to 1940's/50's pop music like that so I don't even need the radio on sometimes (which would be a plus if radio affected stealth or something)
don't mind me, just postin' after a few brewskies
somebody’s Barkley --- could be another’s Monopolo.

the sprint mod actually makes the problems dom was talking about much worse/funnier. sprint off a tiny rock and you rocket several feet into the air!

This was best displayed in Oblivion. With enough agility or w/e you can run, jump twenty feet out, turn around, then reach the area you lept off of.... all in just over a second.

i think if the dog dies you can go back to the scrapyard and get him again.   or maybe not, but at least check there because i remember there is at least a way to get him back in some form if you lose him

The only reason I put up with them is because I like to have the shiskebab early on. After you get the schematics you can jack a premade one from the leader and never have to see them again.

Without Broken Steel, if Dogmeat's dead, Dogmeat's dead. The end.

man i gotta get my fallout 3 copy back from my deadbeat friend who has been borrowing it for six months

it really surprises me that you play/enjoy any video games tbh

anyhow are there any mods which populate towns with more people / revamp the awful bethesda dialogue?? i know i can make the rest of the game ok with rebalancing mods

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

there's loads of atmospheric mods out there that make the game prettymuch how it should look (fellout and working street lamps for example make the game look unbelievably cool). fallout3nexus is gr8.

There is only one way to play Fallout 3. No weapons, no armor, no items, no companions, fists only. Mother fucking Fist of the North Star style.

I actually did that in one of my play throughs. Knocking enemies unconscious with your fists never gets old.

wait, that would first require recreating all of FO3 on rm2k to add that one feature. Where's S4D when we need him???

If you're looking for some sweet mods, go get the Fallout Script Extender (FOSE) and then go get FWE (Fallout Wanderer's Edition), it gives you some really nice rebalancing things, making the game harder and survival is more important. I also use the IronSights mod, which is pretty sweet. The mods Kaworu recommended: Fellout and Fallout Street Lights are fucking amazing and must have mods. Also if you don't already have it, get the FalloutModManager, which you need usually for most mods.
