you are also wrong about uppercuts having armor breaking. a regular uppercut has no armor breaking properties at all. ex uppercuts of course have armor breaking, they are usually multiple hits.

to armor break a focus attack you either have to hit your opponent twice, or use a move like a hurricane kick that has armor breaking properties.

some ex moves can also be broken, like balrogs ex rush punch, rufus' galactic tornado breaks that.

don't listen to that guy, unless you want to be misinformed about street fighter 4

don't forget that any reversal move becomes an armor breaker, so a wakeup uppercut always breaks, probly why he thought they always armor break

Got up to Seth (BARELY), I just abuse focus attacks basicially. I can see Tekken copied alot of characters from this game but I still prefer it.

I find the best abusive tactic, or the easiest for me is Jump Heavy Kick > Crouch Heavy Kick (sweep) space yourself and start over as they get back up.

or you could just learn how to do akuma's raging demon. just combine that with crouch + heavy kick and you have probably the harshest (and least respectable) combination of moves ever. (sweep them down then use the unblockable raging demon as they get up.... so horrible)

Sweep down and raging demon doesn't even work

There is a small window where you can jump out of it when getting up

Plus if he can't beat arcade how would he have Akuma anyway??

yeah sweep to raging demon doesn't work.

best demon setup is like air fireball, hope opponent jumps over, raging demon. they can't recover from their previous jump fast enough, so it's free almost.

I used to be quite okay at SFA3 but the problem is I played it regularly for like a year and a half on an emulator using a normal keyboard. I am COMPLETELY incapable of using a controller or arcade stick. Since I don't really play it anymore I'm probably not going to get one now, but it's kind of silly that everybody beats me up in that game even though I'm pretty sure I could beat them quite easily if only I could use a keyboard.

i've had this problem before too with games, luckily sf2 was one of the first games i ever played so i never had this problem with fighting games (i am terrible at playing them with keyboards)

Speaking of which can anyone recommend me some sort of third party dreamcast controller that's really small? Not like RIDICULOUS small but significantly smaller than the regular DC one. Unless I can find a really cheap dreamcast fight stick I am really going to need one of these, as I really love playing third strike but my hands are so small that I can only play a round or two with a regular DC controller before I have to quit due to pains in my hand. Something closer to the 360 controller's size would be much better. Third strike is one of the best SF's I've ever played and I would really like to actually be able to play it.

I recommend getting the Agetec "Green Monster" for an arcade stick. I don't know it's real name, everyone just calls it the green monster or goblin whatever you want.
