the problem is that the hardest stores to steal from are the ones i'd feel the least guilty about (as in, not at all guilty and just happy i'd gotten something and taken it from THEM and now i can save up for something good) and the easiest ones to steal from are the ones run mostly by first or second generation immigrants who have a hard enough time as it is.

I don't doubt they caught us on tape but we covered enough bases to prevent ourselves from being identified. According to the people I know who worked there, one of the managers said something about it and they started being more careful about locking things up.

it was a warehouse so stuff "falls off the truck" or gets "damaged in transit" all the time, nobody got fired.

he probably contacted the professor outside of class and the professor said "sorry nobody's come to me with anything"

his name is joshua, he's a good dude but his parents have had a hard time financially lately. he begged and begged them for a zune for christmas, and they finally caved and got him one--as long as he promised not to lose it (we worked hard to save up for this for you!!!)

he and his dad eagerly loaded it up with music. his dad kept putting music HE liked on it, but joshua didn't mind since he liked his dad's music. it's a shame his father was killed in a car accident a few weeks later.

joshua always listened to his dad's songs to remind him of the man he misses the most. he took great care of his zune, kept eyes on it at all times. but, in that particular class, she was there.

joshua had a crush on ashley from the first time he saw her. so, when he saw her drop her notebooks, papers flying everywhere, he had to spring up from his seat to help. he hoped ashley would like him, more than anything in the world.

if only he hadn't left his zune in his seat when he rushed off like that...

if only...

oh well, he was a loser, right? who cares.

zunes are expensive, that guy could have bought it himself with minimum wage money or it could have been a gift from someone close to him.
