#gwsoldat was really great back in the day. many a good time. do you remember climb and challenge maps? and like 8 of us would try and do them. i don't think i've ever swore so much in my life. ever.

I remember entering my team in that soldat capture the flag thing. Long live [TFC]! Also, I remember playing with chef and cliff. Cliff used to beat me 20-0 pretty often! Also one time I dueled the pcmaster(DS). Was fun.

More like M79 drama. Hey remember in like ~2005 during the GW duel tournament when I played a really defensive game against rami and narrowly won, and in the topic people were blurting out WOW THAT WAS PURE LUCK!!1

Haha Dada, I'm pretty sure you won 1 - 0 in kills. It's a shame, I think we lost a load of Contender stats and info with GWiki.

I remember the Soldat drama, including Dada's win against rami... There were other times though, like when BobJustBob barrett-glitched his way to victory in Contender and there was UPROAR. But DS or rami (can't remember who it was) gave him his come-uppance in the next round by being a complete dick right back to him

Also anyone remember the Rone Rivendale drama in the Hold the Flag tournament? Where he just quit midway through a game and was the HATE FIGURE of the GWSoldat community for quite a while.

And in the other GW Contender, where I was playing against Belross in a really tight game and he got like a point ahead, then started killing himself to avoid me getting anymore points because of the way the scoring worked! Controversial!

We did take it pretty seriously, looking back.

Sounds like the exact same tournament. After beating rami at like 5-6 I got completely nailed by DS like 20-2 or something like that. Then my last match was against BarrettJustBarrett for third place and I beat him about 15-10 with Barrett (tried to use M79 first, but that just didn't work on that map).

Yeah, we played Bunker and after I killed him a few times, I just used /kill for the rest of the round.

It was fun. Actually at first I used the glitch to get on top of Bunker (basically outside the map) and killed him through the roof with barret. It took a while for Bob to figure out how to get on the roof and once he did, I started doing /kill.

I don't remember any 1-0 match though.

Wasn't the one with rami and me, anyway. We both had a couple of frags, partly because there were some CHASES near the end of the match. It might have been Raziel because he was very keen on using the most dirty tactics and then dismissing everyone who complained as a scrub.

I was always pretty shit at soldat, hence I didn't play too much. I liked to just spin randomly and shoot - GOOD TIMES!!!

Someone earlier mentioned Warcraft 3 - I think it was LAGSPERBOY HO HO HO. That was a pretty damn fine game, although I never actually won a match when we played with Bart. Ever. It sucked so much ass on that front.

I was always good at custom maps when it came to SC and warcraft 3 with games like TD's, RPG's,arena and DOTA games but it's been so long since I touched Dota hopefully SC 2 gets on
