pasta is pretty good though. it's better than noods. it's better than chicken fry. it's fat and carbs. you've got to get that crap, it's the only thing that will knock you out.

I already said that I always eat pasta and vegetables.

And I don't eat microwaved mac and cheese. I don't eat microwaved anything at the moment, but once I head back to school I might eat a hungry man one too many times.

pasta is the worst, if you're gonna make pasta you might as well just drop by the local Target and pick up some pizza hut pizza. I remember jester asked us what to eat to lose weight and someone recommended pasta. the guy's gonna swell up like a blimp. the average dish of pasta has 45% your recommended daily sodium intake. I eat pasta at least twice a month. my sister developed a severe bowel disease from eating nothing but pasta and cheese steaks.

What the fuck. Seriously, how's that even possible? No wonder most people there end up grossly overweight and have more health problems than the doctors can count if they're forced to learn to eat ready-made bullshit as students. I can imagine not that many young people eating very healthily, it isn't any different here, but if they don't even have chance to cook then way to go deliberately growing a nation diabetes, knee prostheses and arteries blowing sky high.

well to be fair a lot of unis do have shared kitchens in the dorms but mine didn't.  most of them do have the rules about not having hot plates or grills or w/e in your rooms though so if you don't have a kitchen you are fuuuuucked

I am a pretty skinny dude (5'11", 140ish pounds) and I have the world's fastest metabolism. No matter how much I eat I can't gain much weight. I had a period during the summer where I started just eating CHICKEN BREASTS and TUNA and BREAD (plus some fruits and veggies...) every day and I did manage to gain like 3 pounds. But now I'm in grad school and am fairly poor and can't afford to eat chicken every day. There is a burger king and tacobell on campus that I am seriously debating eating from maybe 1-2 times a week just because that shit fattens you up really quickly.... but I know it would not be a good thing to do for an extended period of time.

forget all that, what you need is to hit the gym on campus and drink this. Eating fast food would be a lot more unhealthy and expensive if you're trying to put on good weight.

Yeah I didn't suppose that all dorms don't have kitchens, I'm shocked enough that some don't.

so my bro picked up a huge bag of choc. chips from bjs, so he could 'melt' his own choc. sauce  (backfired when he found that melted chocolate freeze upon impact of cold ice cream or milk) so now we have this huge bag of chocolate with nothing to do with it. I'd rather make cookies then eat all those choc. chips. How do I make cookes/? what do I need?

ase and especially psyburn, I'd think pretty hard about that shit before buying it. if you've already got a good diet and get a normal amount of exercise and are still thin, maybe you're supposed to be thin?? that stuff's for bodybuilders and people who gotta do excessive amounts of physical work

also yeah I doubt many college-age people have been to a vitamin shop and that's definitely not a bad thing

not really but a lot of my friends are so I was kinda peer-pressured into gettin' bigger because i'm not a tall guy and was pretty skinny so i felt left out. the weightgainer stuff was extremely helpful in gaining muscle because I have a fast metabolism, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not lifting weights and doing cardio several days a week(which is pretty much the only way to gain healthy weight if you've already got a good diet)

also the blurbs on packaging of workout supplements is probably worth the trip to the vitamin store alone.  VVVVVVVVV SEE SIGNATURE VVVVVVV

Stuffed Potatoes

You'll need: -8 oz ground beef
-2 oz diced white onion
-1 large potato
-2 oz shredded cheddar cheese
-salt and pepper for taste

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees on bake.

Boil the potato until it's cooked. You should be able to run a knife through with no resistance. Cut a V shape out of the potato and save it.

As the potato is cooking, heat up a skillet and sauté the onions until clear. Add the ground beef and cook until brown, adding salt and pepper to season.

Combine the onion and beef mixture with the V shaped potato wedge and mash together with a fork. Restuff the original potato with this new mash. Top with cheese.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

Wouldn't it be better to just eat a ton of eggs?

Maybe not because eggs aren't chocolate flavored
