Obviosluy we'll have delays and all those problems. I was wondering when we'll finish this, or if we can before GW hits the can.

I was actually inspired with an idea today and was gong to ask if i could go first, to set the tone, but I see Thecatamites has already begun. Well, Cat? Would you mind swapping?

For The Record my part is gonna be a brief goofy prologue type thing and then some of the hubworld and general plotsetup etc. Basically without going into details it's gonna leave the option open for people who just want to make whatever they feel like without worrying about canon etc but I'm gonna try to set up some stuff for a potential main plot that people can tease out if they want to as well.

Yeah, the first part isn't even done yet. Hang onto that title screen. I suppose we could use it if nobody else volunteers to make one by the end of it all.

i'm working on the hubworld now, or at least part of it! hopefully people will expand it as they add their parts and maybe throw in extra characters or even subquests etc (or just add a cave etc to their entry). It shouldn't take too long.

Also since I think some of you are already planning entries so here are some general uh groundrules possibly?! gulp dictatorship (has power corrupted him) (boy versus girl, world series of love)
- Hopefully this will be standalone so if you use any RTP stuff be sure to import it into the game!! I'm gonna try to include all the stuff like system2c and the default menu sounds etc but feel free to change them if you want.
- Try to limit mp3s, or at least mp3 filesize! There doesnt need to be a strict limit or whatever and if you want to make some custom music then feel free but don't clog everything up with 12mb copies of OneWingAngel.mp3
- No battles in the hubworld! What you do in your entry is up to you but uh I suggest not being a dick about mandatory random encounters etc either.
- Worlds are selfcontained, feel free to bring up extra characters etc but if you add things like party members and items be sure to remove them again at the end of the level to reduce confusion / balancing garbage and so on.
- There's gonna be a DEVELOPER NOTES room like in the other chaingames where people can talk a lil bit about their entries, be sure to read and add to this!

i feel strangely excited by your post. maybe the idea of it actually being in motion. hmm, how i wish i could now make my portion.

@terro: no, the issues being what-f-everyone-decides-to-do-it and also the balancing stuff. It would be simpler to flush the seperations in the lounge.
