Gaming 6 was a major flop, there was never any need to get rid of the old RM site even though it looked as bad as Don Miguels blog.

The best part is the movement of completely alienating the entire RM scene by talking down on it (Mods across the board) and promoting "Indie Games".

You want a cool post modern Indie Game Making community? The staff actually have to be involved in the process. And no, Barkley hitting the magazines isn't Indie the game was full of rips and GZ worked his ass off programming a joke game.

There were some stellar artists and talented people here but anyone who ever wanted to be someone moved on for obvious reasons. 90% of the staff here aren't even remotely Indie per se. Congrats on killing a major community with a pseudo attempt at taking the site to a brighter future.

I'm just very annoyed that the former staff members endlessly down talked people in G&D and did nothing to save it. On top of that half the history of the site is non-existant which is probably the worst thing you can do to people who spent much of their adolescent years here. And as Ciel mentioned, payed money for premium.

We're still working on fixing GW - actively, and nothing has been purged. Everything's archived/saved/hidden, so don't worry.

The main site was down for ages. As far as impression goes, we have no evidence that anything is even being worked on. I've heard for ages that the GW data was never purged but I'm skeptical it even exists at this point.

Would I really have to PM you for each individual thread I would like access too? Because I hear that's what some people do. Also public access.

I see nothing but garbage $20 VX RTP games being sold. This was non-existant back in the day. There were real games and not just endless boxed vx rtp tiles being sold for credits and clueless game makers. I'm not saying RM is the best thing ever, but it was way better back then. Also, the community here was huge and diverse, the site never needed to be defined.

I come by here from time to time to see a broken front page (It's a damn blog, there's no excuse, I could make the entire site for you if you want) and a dead community. It's not even 10% as thriving as it used to be. The irc channels are basically empty from the few times I checked.

P.S: Vellfire please ignore what I have to say completely and pick a part one line. My point is lead by example.
