I don't really get it did it play a levis commercial first and I mistook it for the actual video or what

edit actually it's way too bad to be levis, more like one those essences for men from the early 2000s when they were really going after that dirty base midwest look all the time. I just remembered how much I hated that stuff, it's worse than all those commercials trying to use the indie look that was popular in like 2005 like those terrible hyundai commercials on every break http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c7YR2eJq_4

oh shit here's the DMT thing

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=10&ved=0CFwQFjAJ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.scientificexploration.org%2Fjournal%2Fjse_21_1_rodriguez.pdf&rct=j&q=dmt%20study%20alternate%20universe&ei=CiklTe2aOoT6lwfhs_H1AQ&usg=AFQjCNHYL9BBhZlfsewiPk2AyIyKteGQ7Q&cad=rja

section 5.2

basically to summarize there are certain known limits of math that people can do 'in their head' I guess (like how many objects you can judge correctly without 'counting') and so they give the guy on DMT some math problem which not even an ass pie can solve and then he is supposed to ask the DMT elves the answer to the problem I guess. But it doesn't really prove anything couldn't it just mean you become a savant for a couple minutes. I guess math is UNIVERSAL though you couldn't ask other questions like hey DMT elves could you google translate this paragraph into a language I've never heard

only a Gamer could take these photoswouldn't you agree bub from the pit?

haha this doesn't even look like games I remember that HDR photo of a mosque somewhere (probably in the middle east) and it looked just like the Temple of Time from Zelda. I mean HDR does make things look like videogames almost automatically but these are like the worst examples

everybody on youtube has horrible taste in photographs in general

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzRtepSfzGE these photos are very gothic

I kept hearing people at my new uni talking about being academy students.  I had no clue what this meant but I finally got around to looking it up and the academy is this thing my uni has where high school students who are really good at science and math can basically enter college two years early.  Like, instead of doing the last two years of high school you just start uni and live in a special dorm.  My world makes SO MUCH SENSE now.  I kept thinking "jeepers a lot of these students look way too young...they're so immature too..."  I thought it was just because they were computer science kiddos and those tend to be immature anyway but now I realize it's because THEY'RE HIGH SCHOOL KIDDOS.  Aaaaaa mystery solved!  They act like kids because they ARE kids no wonder!!!  They're two years ahead by the time they're college aged which is why so many youngsters are in these upper level CS classes.

on a related note:  i feel old

Got three new albums today (Frank Zappa-Playground Psychotics, Afrirampo-Afrirampo and Billy Holiday-The great american songbook)
and three super-cool comic books (The Losers(Jack Kirby), JLA Volume 4(Grant Morrison) and Batman and Robin vol2(Grant Morrison))

But yeah, went to the Tate Modern, and they had a different Max Ernst painting hung up that I hadn't seen in person before (a version of the Peita, but with himself as Jesus, and his father as Mary), and the british Museum's got this really gr8 show on at the moment about the Egyptian book of the dead, which was really fascinating and cool.

Nevermind, google "peanut butter + anything" and you'll likely get a result. Should have figured.

There's currently a 4 day long speedrun marathon going on at SDA for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. They're going to speedrun 100 different games on livestream.

I'd be more impressed if they were so fast at the games that they completed em all in like 2 hours and raised a pittance for the charity
