I thought you could get tattoos removed (albeit painfully).
And hey, most people with tattoos have regret. You should see the ridiculous amount of people here with things like ENGLAND tattoos and BRITISH BULLDOG and ST GEORGE and shit - does their feigned connection with our history and culture seem more stupid than feigning a connection to a religion? It's insane, and the reason they've got them are either football related or nationalism related. I see this as more ridiculous that Farren's apparent (I'm guessing) slight admiration for Buddhism.
Don't get a crescent moon though - they will totally do a cavity search at the airport.
Oh also on re-reading, Farren why exactly do you want to get a religious symbol? In all honesty if the answer IS it looks cool then that's fine, it's your body and your life and as long as you're happy with it then fuck other people's opinions. But yeah do be warned that some people will ask WHY THAT, and they may not feel that it's appropriate or whatever to use the symbol.
I know this dude who got a SPIDER tattooed onto his face when he was like 20. He's in his late 40s now and says he really regretted it because when he had kids and shit he felt a bit ridiculous. Even so, the only reason I personally don't have a tattoo is cowardice (NONEEDLESPLS)
