The main reason I haven't gotten a tattoo is that I'm not sure if the hair would grow back at that spot after getting the tattoo.

I'm okay with my arm not growing hair on that spot anymore, but if the hair does grow back at some point, I would need a tattoo design that works for when there is a bunch of hair all over it.

your hair does grow back btw

One of the guys in my noise punk (not sure what else to call it) band took one of our raw tracks and put up a bandcamp page.

Yeah, the vocals suck, I know. Most of my favorite sonic youth songs come from the Confusion is Sex and Kill yr Idols era, so when I write a song where the guitars are going braahnnnkkkk brankkk brankk squeal, I'm not exactly going to attempt opera over them.

In any case, it is about an old local murder investigation that went nowhere.

article about a college newspaper doing an entire issue with early 80s level technology.  made me think about how much craft-level stuff computers take out of (basically) every job that isn't manual labor.

so I found some of my old rpg maker projects that I thought I lost forever. I was like extremely obsessive-compulsive about trying to code out all sorts of features in rpg maker code and trying too hard to be postmodern convenience/depersonalization of modern society because I sort of found the regular towns in Earthbound the most interesting because of the idealization of it or whatever compared to the made-up fantasy parts.i was thinking about starting work on it again but my ideal game now would be all this fantastic stuff city inside of a giant toilet a la Clayfighter 63 1/3, things like that. The original game I was too worried about being like 5-10 jokes ahead that it wasn't even funny. Now if I did it it would be all this stuff put in for the sake of doing it. Like a sewer level too has odd fascination with sewer levels. Anyway I'm going to post it in Game & Demo or whatever it's called now

Saw this on an ebay auction for arcade games:

"These are all top 10 games that will always earn ,not old videos that a kid these days laughs at cause the graphics on his gameboy blows away.. "

kids these days and their game boys, takes a lot to impress them...

craziness here, there were over 200,000 people on saturday. there's a lot of awful rage against the machine and hippies but it's pretty amazing seeing a movement grow that large. at first it was mostly young people but on saturday all the arabs came out and seniors

I walked into town today or at least tried, only to find everything had been looted and everything closed.

It was surreal, like waking up into some kind of apocalyptic world.

These London riots are getting out of hand.

I didn't know you lived in Israel. I've been following j14, it's amazing to see. It's also having some serious identity issues, with people trying to include the Palestinian issue into the equation and others trying vehemently to prevent that for fear the movement will be branded as "leftist". From what I've seen, it's still growing and the public is overwhelmingly behind it. Are you taking part in it too?
