What's on your mind 2010 the Next Generation

I went through a stage of that, but now I'm back on the whole "Well it's TV that I can zone out to" so it's all good. Paolo has really gone off both of them though.

I do find that, while South Park handles some topics with sensitivity or at least kind of ironic satire, some topics it acts extremely prejudiced towards. I know their whole stick is "We make fun of everyone", but there's a difference in how they do it. For example, sure they make light fun of Jews and Judaism and I wouldn't ever describe them as anti-semitic by any means, but look at their handling of issues like gender confusion and transsexualism and shit. That's hardly the gentle ribbing that Judaism gets in the show really.

Other than that though I am still all up ons the Butters episodes and shit.

Yeah you mentioned gender issues, that's easily the worst. Anything involving Mr. Garrison. They do make fun of "both sides" but that's because they're glib libertarian nutjobs who identify with neither side. It made for puerile and unintelligent people who have never faced discrimination because it justifies their views.

this is all college people watch and talk about. unless they watch anime. but in the computer lab at my building they regularly have family guy projected on the screen

I can stand it, at least it's not like penn & teller or idk I'm blanking on terrible shows right now

South Park used to be funny when they had lower production values. I laughed at cartman's concentration camp joke in one of the earlier episodes. Now it's like they're either trying too hard or I just got too used to it but I can't wait two or three years again to watch southpark like I was doing it for the first time.

i still remember that day clearly.

he's somebody i reflect on a lot. it's a big deal that suprisingly often my thoughts about my own progress is a lot about what would he think about my progress and that would he be happy about my growth as a human and where i am now.

well, he WAS the guy who i looked after to become equal when my surroundings failed to give me any means to grow or value. and i was trying to kill myself with shame. when he awknowledged me or said something good about me, it meant... everything.

This is what I hate about the world.

So there's this boy who's really good at art and somehow able to sell his paintings for exorbitant prices (for better or for worse), and what do people choose to focus on? His ability to buy expensive things.

Yeah, being able to paint is nice and all but how much money does it make????
