I was going to respond to this by pointing out his use of the word "hella" right afterwards.

But in trying to do that, now I am trying to figure something english related out.

If you have a word to describe a noun, it's called an adjective. ex: (A 'busy' beaver)
If you have that word describe a verb, it's called an adverb. ex: (I am running 'energetically')

My question is this: If you have that word describe neither a noun or a verb, but it describes another adjective instead, what are you supposed to call that?
Like in the sentence "I am hella busy." what does 'hella' qualify as? Am I wrong assuming busy qualifies as an adjective in that context and is rather some kind of object participle or something?

It seems like even so, it should be easy enough to come up with an example of an adjective having a word to describe that adjective like an adverb describes a verb. (for instance, take any sentence with an adjective, and modify it so that the word right before that adjective is "really"), but is it the case that any attempt at trying to do so is always incorrect grammar? Or is there a proper way to do it and I am just ignorant of the correct term for which?

they're adverbs

Quote
In English, adverbs are typically formed from adjectives by appending -ly and are used to modify verbs, verb phrases, adjectives, other adverbs, and entire sentences, but not nouns or noun phrases.

where 'hella' is used in the same way as 'very' or 'really'

Anybody else concerned that the US Military is designing Terminators?

No. They don't even have no money to make no terminators.

I voted on those.

The only one I wanted to win was the eminent domain initiative, but it looks like the seemingly racist voter id initiative ended up getting passed too. (although voting is really enough of hassle as it is. I can't believe so many people waited in line for that long in order to help pass a bill that would make those same lines even longer next time. It's a very surprising result to say the least.)

Well I've officially lost what little respect I had for journalism and news. I feel sick knowing that the media finally got their chance to slaughter JoePa's* good name. He's the most well rounded coach NCAA football has ever seen and will always be one of my heroes.

Maybe the Wayback Machine has copies.

*sigh* I'm gonna have to understand and implement the *Scan* command to continue on . . . or maybe not. Hmm, what other kinds of knowledge besides status can I use?

*is becoming obsessed with Panda Hero* Love this version!

Paterno had delivered his initial decision to his players during a brief and emotional late-morning meeting in an auditorium of the school's Lasch Football Building.

"Joe was crying. Other coaches were crying. Team members were crying," senior receiver Derek Moye said. "If there weren't tears in your eyes after that meeting, something is wrong with you."

in other news USA Today sports writers are apparently worse at forming coherent sentences than penn state receivers

The makers of popular MMORPG Lineage II are facing a lawsuit accusing them of acting negligently by failing to warn a man that he could become addicted to the game, which he blames for making him “unable to function independently” and costing him 20,000 hours of his life.

The plaintiff in the case, an American resident of Hawaii, alleges he became addicted to Lineage II, squandering 20,000 hours playing the game in the 2004-2009 period.

So afflicted was he that he became “unable to function independently in usual daily activities such as getting up, getting dressed, bathing or communicating with family and friends,” he claims.

This was, he says, a direct result of the fact that maker NCsoft “acted negligently in failing to warn or instruct or adequately warn or instruct plaintiff and other players of Lineage II of its dangerous and defective characteristics, and of the safe and proper method of using the game.”

He maintains he would never have begun playing the game had he known it was so addictive. He is seeking unspecified monetary damages.

Korean game maker NCsoft released the game in 2003 as a sequel to Lineage, a highly successful fantasy MMORPG much esteemed for its sexy dark elves. The sequel boasted over 600,000 subscribers at its peak, and still maintains a substantial following.

Lineage II was notorious even amongst MMORPG circles for having an exceptionally high “grind” factor, requiring vast investments of time in order to reach the higher levels.

The judge presiding has refused to dismiss the claims, although it is not clear whether the suit will make it to trial. NCsoft for its part has demanded the court dismiss the case.

Coming from the nation that pioneered the “hot things may burn you” warning label, all bets are off as to whether the case will go forward.
