I had a dream about a Thai (!) bootleg game called RESIDENT EVIL THAI ALPHA apparently that was actually quite good and it was like some hybrid of Resident Evil with the look/controls of a Street Fighter game and it seemed to take place in some tropical/carribbean island maybe. It also had a lot more weird creatures/bug type things than zombies/zombie-like things. I remember there was also some frogs who would just randomly eat you and kill you instantly like the headburst things in RE4 that would just bite your head off randomly. It might've shifted to an RE5 clone halfway through. I dunno though it had like this GRAIN to it as though it was made in the 70's and if games actually degraded like film. Or maybe a little Metal Slug influence. I think the whole game was like a one-floor house and some surrounding outdoors. I think it shifted to an episode of Rocko's Modern Life/Simpsons where I escaped the house but now I was stuck on a desert road and wigging out. Later on (possibly in a seamless way) I was at some weird store in the mall with lots of oddly shaped Chinese bootleg games and some ghanaposters somehow (ragnar paradise) the artist had attempted oriental sort of landscapes

which haven't been ghana-fied yet to my knowledge and it turned out really weird and was in these odd ZX Spectrum colors. Obviously I picked out that one

i think those kinds of designs are just generically secreted in the interior chambers of some exotic tree
people in hazmat suits carefully removing shirts and mousepads from the tree after they have been stained with colourful juices. after the refinement process they can be sold to finance further expeditions
in 1990 a team excavating south american ruins became infected with "virus zero" of "vir0"a mysterious virus which affects only brain patterns... they began to hallucinate without realising it... they gravitated towards certain patterns and colours... they brought "vir0" back to the western world where it quickly spread... was the mysterious newage/aquarius subcurrent of 90s culture a freak commercial trend or was it an outbreak of the virus..?

HOOK JAW
is a comic about a giant shark who murders everything. HOOK JAW is my favourite superhero. HOOK JAW rights wrongs as he devours endless hapless scubadivers. HOOK JAW systematically kills and eats his entire supporting cast. HOOK JAW prowls the waters around an unscrupulous oil refinery being run by 'Red' McNally who callously disregards the safety of his crew in the search for ducats.
makes you wonder who the real monster is
hint: it is HOOK JAW
