So uh I had no clue that Doshin the Giant was released in English on the Gamecube until yesterday!  And apparently even SOLD REALLY WELL in Europe??? I wasn't too surprised about a Gamecube rerelease but I figured that was Japan-only too.  I'm going to play it if I can find settings in my emulator that don't replace some models with grey boxes.
They're very actively working on Dolphin so if you can't get it to work, file a bug report and they'll get to it eventually.

Oh cool, thanks.  I haven't played with the settings at all so I'll try that first because who knows.

I had this game when it came out, just because I was like "WHAT IS THIS LOVE GIANT GAME".

It is so much fun, but impossible to resist the urge to just fuck up everyone's shit every so often. HUGE RAGE GIANT POWER UP!!! (It is easier to grow with fear than it is with love - Machiavellian education at its finest, in cutesy form!)

Maybe Deadly Premonition is old news to everyone else but I just looked it up and

You can find an old thread in the VG forum, where many people hyped it. I'm terribly jealous of those that have played, because I don't have a current-gen system, and like the idea the more I hear about it.

ps hey chef i think i remember you once posting a screenshot from some old rpgmaker game where the dialogue was like "och, give it to me harder, boyo! this firey irish lass wants you deep inside of her!" do you still have this or know what game i'm talking about. i think it was set in the postapocalypse.

also heres something for rami http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPWwH61Mfiw

its an old DOS game called Ecstatica. the backgrounds are prerendered but i think everything was made with some bizarre variant of 3d modelling which used ellipsoids rather than polygons. maybe this is why the textures look so bizarrely detailed??

Yeah, I was looking for that game a couple months ago and I'm pretty sure it's gone, or at least the trailer is. I think Drakkar made it and it was called Apocalypse Warlords or something ridiculous. I remember GZ and I talking about it once and GZ told me that Drakkar is actually insane, so that's a pretty good reason to play it. I think the quote was something like "This Irish lass needs you balls deep inside me."

Oh you know what? You should ask SegNin for it in the rare RPG Maker games topic.

What I never understood is how anyone could have any sense of pre-apocalypse nationality hundreds of years after an apocalypse. How does this person even know what Ireland is? ??? ??? ?

P.S. - this game looks hecka cool. I wish it was easier to find and play early CD-based DOS games on the net. I'm totally going to check this out.

P.P.S. - I'm looking for Italo-disco and pulsating brains in games. If you have either, let me know. /!\GAMING EMERGENCY/!\

This is why I need to get to work on rebuilding Retro Gaming.

It's a friggin targ James Bond game from the past! coupled with Savage-style cheap 80's synth styff. aaa i'm checking the game further on it's longplay and somebody needs to clear this game with the speech turned on ahhaha. the dialogue is incredible at places, otherwise it's a pretty short kinda boring game

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbnc6Bk62PU&feature=player_detailpage#t=773s music at this point is pretty good too

this is great. there's some very nice pictures (keith moon and oliver reed!) and then you get to something crazy like KATHERINE HEPBURN SKATEBOARDING or MARILYN MONROE ATTACKED BY A STUFFED BEAR
