It's news to me but I do remember being fascinated by videogame attract modes as a kid, maybe because I was too cheap to actually play any of the games.
here's a cool amiga game
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRGIww533Y4 FRANKO - THE CRAZY REVENGE! it's a polish fighter game full of grotesquely muscular dudes pissing and destroying each other. The female enemies in the second part of the game are equally ripped and muscled which shows an admirable egalitarian side to the game's brutal worldview. The backgrounds are fantastic and full of graffiti like NIKE ITS SHIT and RAP and FREEDOM JONES C+C M. FACTORY and THE KLF and probably like a million more. There's some cool metallic synthesized speech effects here too.
There are some incomprehensible driving sections where you try to avoid[?] running over the priests and singe mothers who race across the road at random.
Looks like the same guys went to make Doman which was a barbarian game like Savage where your default attack was just effortlessly decapitating people.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuDzQLx4wP4&feature=related Elvira Mistress Of The Dark amiga game idk i just like the strange droning music and the weird swordfight system.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHzZU6Yr3R8&feature=related Code name Hell Squad goofy liveaction segments and really awkward tonal shifts where your machinegun-wielding commando guy cracks generic adventure game jokes while standing right next to a dude being tortured to death.
