Urotsuki: I've seen people suggest it in your comments, but have you given thought to playing
Johnny's Odyssey or it more polished sequel
Johnny's Nightmare, the preeminent Johnny fangames? The guy who does them has a website at
http://autofish.net/ that defined my reading/playing/listening list for the first half of my teenage years. they're incredible games that both approach the johnny fangame concept with 2 types of aplomb, also unbelievable soundtracks - he uses Rupert and the Toymakers Theme from the C64 as Johnny's leitmotif, cutting back in heroically when the fight is on. The title progression is also perfect.
also who's the mysterious Slurp who keeps showing up? i like his style.
ahahahahaha
August: Fuck YouTube, I'm doing Dooms4 and
its staying up. (crowd goes wild)
January: Link to Dooms 4
FUCKING YOUTUBE FASCISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'( They just can't deal with the outre art of our indie community....
On an unrelated note while reperusing the old First Person Dungeon crawler thread I found a really fantastic LP of Stonekeep, it's super interesting and fun all the way through and a great way to experience the cool game if you like me weren't going to download it. The dungeons are full of little setpieces, like Wahooka the Great, who talks down at you and gives you hints if you get him jewels.
