i just read a book from the 80s about model trains and most of it was useless/irrelevant/out of date but the one important piece of advice it gave me is that i absolutely have to buy an engineers hat

like, it said this was not optional

I really need to get back to work on my game. What's salt world's stance on non-free games? lol.

(EDIT: BTW, I would never make a quick "cash grab" casual-fest game... like my dad seems to think I should do. It be more likely to lean towards nerdy with probably to much RPG-like options/variety and probably not enough game balancing and bug-fixing)

Nothing wrong with them? GZ and some of the TOG/Barkley people have been making "quick cash grab games" (though still qualitatively good) specifically to try and get some funding for more interesting projects.

Yeah, too often people take pictures but don't really EXPERIENCE their own trip as it happens because they are to preoccupied with taking pictures.

I generally have the opposite problem. I never remember to take a picture every once in a while.
