There's an independent film being shot in my home town. My friend is one of the actors and she keeps posting updates about it on facebook. I find virtually everything about it hilarious (It's a very generic horror movie about a hospital haunted by a demon called "The Butcher,"  it stars "The nation's leading Johnny Depp impersonator" and it had an indiegogo campaign that made about 450 of the 5000 dollars they wanted to get.) My friend is apparently having the time of her life and is really excited about it but I think she's drastically overestimating how much of a building block in her acting career this is going to be.
