I would and all but I need to reinstall windows since it's fucking up and play DIABLO 3 after I back up everything and reinstall windows sadly (any installer craps out my window so I have to back stuff up and get out.)

Im not gonna wait but i'll gladly make a new character or whatever. If we can get 4 people to play through Nightmare or something that'd be awesome. You have to play through at least normal to unlock higher difficulties, so that's what I'm trying to do. I don't know if it's like, you unlock 1 higher difficulty each time, or just beating Normal unlocks all the harder difficulties or what.

that so only wiwth single player. With multi player you can do whatever. We were playing with hacked characters last time but are going to start over tiwthout cheating next time cuz its omre challenging and fun. it doesnt matter if you cant play regularly since you usually start with a fresh dungeon every time. But i have a dedicated computer for playing diablo so i could leave the server up.

i WAS talking about diablo 1 because i don't have the money to pay for 60 dollar video games (unless you can torrent diablo 3 and play on servers with people)

Sadly Blizzard is try to combat hacks and piracy and makes the game go to there server form start up. you would need a crack that take you to a private server or something. Also goldenratio I knew what you are talking about see you there soon today will be the last day I need to get this backing up stuff done.

actually just so you guys know the reason for the "always online DRM" isn't so much to prevent piracy, if at all, it has more to do with the auction houses (especially the real-currency auction house). I actually think it's a pretty smart system that ensures them some continuous revenue without charging a monthly fee, but at the same time it pretty much requires them to make item hacking/duping all but impossible to pull off, otherwise their auction house is worthless and the whole system would just fail.

But running and maintaining servers isn't cheap and an uproar about the company trying to keep revenue coming in is entitlement at its' worst (no offense to anyone here I'm not implying anyone here is entitled or anything, just elsewhere on the internet).

I still wish they had an offline mode, where that character could never be played online, ever, and wouldn't required a connection to play.
