I wouldn't mind removing the posts from being displayed everytime you post but there should still be a record like when you check your profile pagre there should still be a post ocunt somewhere there.

Well I was just kind of expanding on the idea that we shouldn't have pips or that pips could potentially be a bad thing. I'd be ok with no pips, no post counts, and no voting/ratings, but a lot of people will want some kind of metric. I don't see why you'd be in favor of no pips but still want a post count, they are basically the same thing. If you get discouraged because everyone has 20 burger pips why wouldn't you also be discouraged by seeing thousands of posts next to everyone? They are the same thing to me. If we're going to have postcounts, we should just go ahead and have pips, why not.

Did we? I mean i think Afura didn't specifically mention removing post counts but I think he indicated that too when he just checked out his own post count. Or the general tone of the post, idk. You are right, people MIGHT want metric but maybe we might just do without, with them being located from each and everyone's profile info like Dday suggested... Besides, I ask you, dear Goldenratio: Had not the power of clay to put a one vessel unto another, and one unto dishonor? Surely you understand? Truly, truly...

All in all, I think we 3 are on the same page on this.

and ahhahah You are right Afura, i should be be concise and to a point without derails when i'm trying to make a point or if i want my thoughts to be taken (more) seriously. I have a knack for getting hella excited and just let millions of flowers bloom (in my posts)... i am toxic / you are nothing, repeat ad infinitum...  it might be contagious, stay away & sterilize yourself...

i think hiding post counts in the users profile is a good idea.

also it would be great to have some method of promotion for works by saltworlders! right now they're pretty much hidden in a subforum at the bottom of the page.
