Going through more old files, does anyone remember when we found out Jester was Blargsnarf?

That's a thought that pops up every now and then. To us young pups he was like this testy foreboding presence on the forums, better not step across his line in the sand on polls forum issues and video games alike or be viciously eviscerated...then it turns out he's this huge established figure in the world of goofy grotesque cartoon porn. I remember finding his stuff really bizarre - in terms of raw content, sure, but moreso it was the style in which these things were drawn that was memorably gut-wrenching

No you don't. When you turn 29 you think "well, I'll just have to buckle down this year and achieve all my goals!" and in the back of your mind you know that isn't true, but you can cling to that delusion that you'll somehow fix all your problems until you're nearly 30.

Kind of funny I'm almost 30 in a ten more days ​. You know whats odd, I forget the guys name that share the same birthday on this this forum ... and I know, I should know it... I guesses this is what it's like to get old.


Edit: Also holy shit I didn't know Jester was Blargsnar, but to be fair I didn't even know the name Blargsnar at all.

Edit 2: I just remember who it was atari that shares the same day as me.

Yeah, he was a moderator and maybe mainsite staffer at the time. Chef and all found out and changed their avatars to his artwork without telling him I think, so he just logged in one day and saw a handful of people with his art as avatars.
 
to better describe his presence on the forums at least to me, he felt like the huge 20 year old in your high school sci-fi and fantasy literature class, a partaker of unnamed drugs, who'd wear edgy suburban mall-store slogan shirts or Think Geek programmer apparel and would make snide comments to himself at the back of class, maybe to a handful of sycophants of the alt-nerd publicly porn-loving variety, and could lash out loudly at any time to disparage unpredictable things you couldn't help but sometimes do.

Well I'm glad he ok, since I always wounder what has become of some of the users of GW... like Bart(The man that made GW a thing.) is he still around and so on

I showed my buds soldat last month and all of them asked why this isn't on steam, and then asked about playing it! haha
I miss the soldat, worms and Mame-lan fighters we all used to do. Anyone else remember Corel? kid artist made some wicked art and was good at fighters, introduced me to meltybread.

Jester was a content admin at some point in time unsure of when it was though, but he was almost always a mod.
