Tether Recovery was just "You must recover!" update in disguise.
I don't see the point in the stickers but it's something else to waste time collecting lots of with is good I suppose.

God I hope Peach can't still do her charged/crouch cancelled 80+% down smash. Bigger characters like Ike who have a no-flinching ability when performing certain moves (Ike's Aether for example) would get their ass kicked hard.

Still a good update for the last one of the week though, but characters usually are. The Peach model looks amazing.

So what is that, 18 confirmed characters now?

16 are on the website, but they don't mention Snake or Meta Knight, so yeah, 18.

off-topic-ish:
I know its been mentioned already,GENO would be a fucking awesome character for brawl. I'm currently playing through Super Mario RPG for the first time, and it is pretty good... for such a old game, considering I'm not much of an RPG lover, or even that huge of a Mario fan, nor do I get any nostalgic feelings for the game. It's just a plain GOOD game. I sorta hope even more that they make a true sequel of SMRPG with him in it though, since the original seems so short. I've only been playing it for total of about 2-3 hours and already have 4 of the star pieces (out of 7). I think I'm gunna be sad when this game ends for me.
One of the greatest games ever made. Make sure to play WITH VOLUME, too, because it has some of the best music ever made for a video game ever!

Am I the only one who thinks that Pokemon Trainer seems like a really odd character to add in? I mean, especially when you already have Pokeballs as items (well, I guess they aren't confirmed yet) and Pikachu as a playable character.

Still, I've kinda hoped they'd add more playable pokemon, and this kinda fits the bill. I just wonder about how the whole stamina thing is going to work.
If no one went off on tangents, we'd keep going in circles.

Pokeballs are confirmed actually. And it is kinda odd, but I think he'll fit in just fine.

Yeah, that is kind of odd come to think of it. So Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard can all pick up pokeballs and throw them? Other characters can throw pokeballs but the pokemon disappear... W... WH... GWHY IS IT NOT DIS WAY FO POKERMOMS TRAINER??

I WANT EXPLFAINATIONS MISTER

You might as well ask the same question for why the already playable pokemon characters from Melee can do that...
And why they don't disappear...

You're trying to apply logic to a game where toys of characters from unrelated franchises come to life and beat each other up with dazzling powers and eventually fight a giant hand.

Don't.

So Link's moves veer more towards TP. I kinda expected this since he looks like the TP Link. Now this makes me wonder even more about how Zelda and Ganondorf's moves are gonna be (& especially Ganondorf's final smash, be cool if he transformed into his TP Ganon form).

That isn't canon tho. <.<

That was just the commercial.

I definitely like the clawshot now, finally has a more 'usable use'.
I'm also liking how the spin attack can be charged, however it makes me wonder about whether it can be used to fly up higher.

It was the opening demo for SSBM.

I think even using the term "canon" for SSBM is applying too much thought to the setting and story of the thing, which are essentially non-existent. The point is that this is not a game where consistency, internal logic, cohesive plot, or obeying physical laws are even matters of concern. It is entirely about having fun.

The Spin attack being chargeable is definitely a cool addition, as well as the claw shot. Other than that and the boomerang, he isn't much different.

It will still be used as Link's Up+B recovery. It'll just work like Marth's or Roy's regular charged B attack.
