Yeah... you have to realize too, I'm in a different timezone(I'm in Eastern America).  And I have to work most days.  It's hard when you don't even really know what time the game starts up.  (I'm on GMT -6 time btw)

I'm game all day tomorrow, after 10-11 GMT on Tuesday (which is probably too late for you guys)  Also, how bad was my mic?  I heard someone say it wasn't working (or perhaps they were talking about something else.) and up till 10/11 GMT Wednesday.

nah, aim for the sniper one if you're like me and never ever snipe normally. just go sniper for one whole game and try to get it (also getting 1/9 on the "play one round as each class" achievement)

It was a bit distorted but we could hear what you say fine...although you sounded pretty tense.

That's how I normally sound actually, apart from the distorted bit.  I was probably a bit tense from work.  Trust me, cashiering is a lot more stressful then you think.  Especially on Super Bowl Sunday... (Jerks at check out).  Plus I'm very quick to anger...

Don't 'aim' for hardcore or the sniper one, you'll really get them just playing normally. The pyro one is a tad tricky unless you kamikaze it through the enemy in something like dustbowl2 and flame them (no kills but you'll set 10 on fire)

Can't say I am aiming for any of them since they all could happen over regular play time.  Especially if I get lumped on a good team, or something.  I'll probably never get the sniper one unless I cheat and put a dot on the center of my screen and snipe like that.  (I'm very twitchy and can't keep up with moving targets)  Perhaps I can convince my brother to get this game, and I'll snipe his dumbass as he tries to soldier me.  (He has a dedicated Counter-Strike: Source Server, how much harder would a TF2 one be?)  The only problem he has with it is "it's not realistic looking enough/It's Half-Life"  The only reason he doesn't like HL is because it involves aliens and that's not realistic...  /rant

nah man i suck at sniping, but just get a good position on like hydro or something that isnt 2fort and get it in one run.

Interesting thing happened in Dustbowl.  I was on Red (Defending) and my team consisted of 3 Demos, 3 Heavies, 4 Soldiers, 2 Medic, and Me a Sniper.  Everyone was camping along the rooftop/1st capture point, and the only way any of the BLU team got out was when they were Uber'd.  All the stickies, rockets, and minigun fire stopped them dead.  I ended up getting about 10 to 12 headshots in that round.

Also, the reason I suck at sniping is the slow movement and lack of peripheral vision.  which is why I would want the sniper dot even though I'm not zoomed in.

Also, Any tips on Sentry Gun placement for the 10 kills via 1 sentry achievement?

That was a ton of fun, the game I hopped on for about 20 minutes today. I was looking for my mic, before realizing I threw it out in the great clutter purge of 2008 because the substandard microphone was attached to even more substandard headphones which had long since lost their padding.

"Fah!" I said.

"I never voicechat in game - why keep this headset when the only thing working is the mic?"
