Yeah. What branch is she in now?

Also I can't WAIT to see Pam vs. Karen pretty much.

ALSO also I saw in the previews last week Micheal, Jim, and Dwight riding in a car, fade out, and they're all wearing the Warehouse uniforms with fake mustaches. Awesome.

Yea it was a great episode, my favorite of the season. I particularly liked the scene with Phyllis and Kevin disrupting the club. I hope the club becomes a sort of reoccurring thing for sure. Oh and as always awesome to see Toby involved a little.

Edit: Did Karen not get that Jim didn't want to be there because they were on a 'panty' raid? she has always been kind of dumb in my opinion.

I wasn't crazy about this one. It seemed pretty CRAZY, especially with Micheal doing that to Jim. He's usually more sensitive and, dare I say, understanding of Jim because he considers him his friend.

Also I was disappointed that Karen didn't visit the Scranton branch and face-off with Pam or anything. The club wasn't exciting imo either.

Yes.

Also, what a great episode. A bit quirky, but it worked out REALLY well. When Michael tells Pam to leave, Dwight cut's his penis on the bottle... Basically everything. Great episode.

i dunno, i'm with cheesy... I thought it was a good episode, but it was a little TOO RIDICULOUS. I liked last week's better I'm pretty sure.

Also I don't think Jim was being a pussy, that would be one hell of an awkward situation to be in. And she does seem pretty fucking nuts.

karen is fucking nuts.

seemed like a normal reaction.

keep in mind, if you kept up over the summer, she was just dumped by the fountain and he DIDN'T COME BACK pretty much.

I liked this ep. it was really surreal but unlike other surreal moments like the kidnapping two eps ago, it worked for me.

THIS IS THE GAYEST THING I DO.

I know what he did was terrible and shit but her reaction was really over the top. He was an idiot for bringing up pam, too.

i haven't seen this one yet but it sounds like it's gonna annoy me cos this show has a habit of taking characters who were previously sane and making them not that way

yeah, i don't think karen's reaction was over the top at all, either.  she was just kind of being exceedingly sarcastic which is a pretty normal way for people to express their anger and frustration at people, which of course she would still have since she hadn't seen him since he just left her at a fountain or whatever the fuck.  i read this thread before i watched the episode and was expecting some crazy outburst, but it was pretty normal i thought!  jim's acting all throughout the episode was excellent, though.  like, some of the funniest shit i've seen from him so far in the series.

so uh.... I guess no one watched The Office last week.

It was an above average episode, if not simply for Michael's sudden desire to become a better person by getting lost in the Pennsylvania wilderness.
Creed was hilarious with his insistance for Peach cobbler, although the whole Office Birthday Party subplot was pretty dumb, imo.
Michael's ability to get many uses out of his pants and Dwight's reactions were awesome.

I thought it was a pretty dumb episode. Michael's time telling was pretty funny and all of creeds parts (specifically the walk out and 'tell angela it's for creed. she'll know what that means')

Also dwight with the rifle.

also his desire wasn't to become a better person. it was just to prove that a man surviving alone in the woods is better than a camping trip with a bunch of boys because he was jealous of toby. michael is not deep enough to think about becoming a better person.

"When I return, I hope to be a completely changed human being."

I kind of took this as Michael's foolish belief that going into the woods was going to lead to some sort of cathartic or meditative state (which would, in turn, make him a changed and better man). Yeah, he definitely wanted to have his own slice of camping after not being invited to the camping trip (I WISH I COULD HAVE GONE WITH RYAN ON THAT COOL RETREAT!) but Michael is also known for hilariously believing he is more intelligent than he actually is, and in this case that meant trying to do the "deep" thing and go to the woods to change himself (and survive).

Man, I laughed so hard when Dwight took the blow dart out of the toilet. Telling time in the woods was also great.

I'm surprised the things you guys are choosing to focus on, since I thought the most significant bit of character development was the parallelism they were developing between Michael and Jim. The office birthday party thing *was* dumb, but it was dumb to show that link between Michael and Jim, which is important. I think they're foreshadowing Jim quitting Dunder Mifflin once and for all before too long. Especially coupled with his stuff from his Second Life thingy.

Yeah... Those were the best five minutes imo. That was REAL characterization. Michael is imo smarter than we think, and underestimated. Jim is on a track to be like him, somewhat; Phyllis calling him Michael pushed that along as well. I wonder how this'll be handled?
